Ok if we can still trade Leuer what about something like this:

Bucks trade: Pacers 1st, DJ Wilson, Leuer, Ersan
Bucks receive: Gallinari

Mavs / Hawks trade: Trade exception
Mavs / Hawks receive: Pacers 1st, Leuer, Ersan

Thunder trade: Gallinari
Thunder receive: DJ Wilson, trade exception

Not sure if I would do it considering the Pacers 1st + DJ is a lot to give up for only 1 guaranteed year of Gallinari.

Maybe if he would agree to an extension this summer it’d be more palatable. But even then we’d have to be confidant he would be a great fit both in big lineups shifting Middleton to the 2 as well as small lineups with Giannis or a Lopez brother at center.

For the Thunder’s perspective am mostly thinking about this:

There aren't many splashes to be made. Unless a team like the Thunder decides to have a fire sale, in which case we don't have a ton to offer.

HORRIBLE! So basically, Brogdon, Ersan, a first round pick and two seconds for Gallinari. Jerry West you aren't.

I may not be Jerry West but at least I understand what we would be giving up...we wouldn’t be giving up Brogdon and a first and 2 second rounders...we gave up Brogdon for the first and 2 second rounders, duh

Ersan and Brogdon for Gallinari is pretty even...Brogdon didnt want to stay anyway...

What would it take to bring in Robert Covington? I would be surprised if they trade him, but that new GM seems ready to wheel and deal over there.

Sure but is Oubre actually good? This summer was perfect to get paid. Next season there won't be as many teams with cap space and the Suns have no reason developing him if he takes the QO with the intention to leave. It's probably going to end like Capela last year. Eventually they'll find a number that works for both.

He's 9th-best-guy on a good team good.
