I went Kawhi, nice little bump for him from #6 to #1 if the poll holds up.

Giannis.

I can't vote for someone who has only played a total of 69 regular season games in the past 2 seasons.

I was just commenting so he'd be in the next ten, but for real, not including him in this one is almost disrespectful.

I'd probably put Dame sixth. Durant (next season) and Paul George over him is kind of messed up. George has like six weeks of monster play, whereas Dame has been consistent - and consistently improving - for years.

well yeah but Harden, Freak, King, Kawhi and KD are all better. AD is probably as well. Steph probably as well when he is clear #1 option as well. I don't see top 5. Embiid and Joker are close.

If I had to partly project how good each guy is going to be next season rather than just relying on how good they were this past one I’m going:

1. Curry
2. Giannis
3. Harden
4. LeBron
5. Kawhi

Pretty good. My list is Curry, Giannis, Kawhi, Harden, LeBron.

Harden has been 1st or 2nd in MVP voting for three straight seasons and leads one of only two teams (with TOR, obvs) to take the Durant Warriors to six games, which he did last season after taking them to seven games the season before. (Come to think of it, Toronto doesn't even fit that description.) Eighth seems... off.

I have him fourth. I think anywhere in the top five is reasonable.

I would love to hear an argument for Lillard over Curry...

...and I like Lillard a lot.

Durant is the hardest one to place right now. He would be my number one.

I nominate Lillard.

So would you be put him 5th on my list? Or is he better than in that top 4? i can see him 5th, 5-8 is a wash for me.
