Russell Westbrook: Worst 3pt% in NBA history (min 2500 attempts)

People want to pair him with Giannis.
All posts are my own opinion.

I’d remember Charlie Criss - who played for the Bucks roughly 35 year ago - before Gutierrez, who was like four years ago. Great name drop. Wasn’t he one of Kidd’s “guys,” too?

Not sure why my post is a big deal to you in particular?

It is a farce and I find it stupid but also *shrugs*. Hope whatever reason the Bucks did it for works out.

Serious question: How valuable is the 15th spot on the roster really? I mean how often do guys go from the 15th man to a contributor on a good team?

It's not at all that important, imo. If you're playing your 15th man any kind of big minutes, something in your season has gone horribly wrong (injury or record).

Wait people want a worse contract then Middleton? Why don't we just trade for Wall while we are at it...at least he would fit better.

Frazier certainly contributed at times for us due to injury. I would venture to guess some around here thought Pat Connaughton was our 15th man last season. I know I thought it may have been DJ Wilson.

ReddRum wrote:All of you that don’t want Russell Westbrook are insane. The guy averages a triple double for the entire season. Think about that before you answer. What he would bring alone in tenacity, assists, and rebounds would be worth it. He can take over games, hit clutch shots, and get his team pumped up. Don’t ever compare this man in any way to Bledsoe. He is multiple levels above him. The guy is a top 15 player in the entire NBA and people would still bitch it we got him. Don’t tell me he wouldn’t play well next to Giannis. Giannis needs somebody to get him jacked and start taking games over. We would be the favorites to win the ship if we got him. Right now we have no shot against either of the LA teams. Sorry we need that 2nd star. I’m confident if we got him or really any other top 15 player we would win it all.

So he averages a triple double on **** efficiency and his bigs literally don’t grab rebounds so he can get his boards. Never mind him and Giannis don’t pair well at all.

I don’t want to say I think he is the most overrated player of all time but I will say his optimal situation is being the man with everything catered around him and getting his and enjoying 45 win seasons.

Love that we’re back to “roster spots don’t matter” after our first (and only?) year of proving the value of every roster spot.

I prefer Bledsoe at his contract than Westbrook at his.

We must be trying to do something with Leuer and/or Ersan since we haven't announced Hill, RLo, or Wes yet.

Leuer and that Pacer first and a Pacer second I’d think.

That feels really light unless his foot injury is long term. That contract he is on is golden and he is a really good player. I would add a Sterling or DDV to close that deal for him if the health checks out.

It needn't be "horribly wrong." If your 15th guy is the third string C or PG and one of your guys is injured for a while. And there are UDFA who make a roster and carve out a career all the time.

but obviously we're talking about the least important guy on the roster, by definition.

Top-15 player Russell Westbrook hasn't been able to get his team above 50 wins or to the second round since KD left, and in two of those years he had Paul George. And the playoff losses have been ass kickings for the most part..

I always thought the triple-double thing got a little overrated, and hard pass on trying to make his game mesh w/ Giannis in Bud's system.

You are going to stroke out at a premature age my friend

No, he’s completely right. This is an amateur-hour, small market insecure move. Bucks were freaked out seeing all this FA movement of superstars and made a move of desperation.

They could’ve had Thanasis the last several seasons when nobody wanted him. I want to know how his game has changed in the last few years to improve to be worthy of a 2-year deal. An invite to summer league or training camp, no problem. This is mini-LeBron type BS trying to tell a GM what to do to appease him.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.
