I was pretty much on this thing as much as you can be with zero info. Always trust content from TVD.

The delay was good news for us, as they were completing the trade for PG. Kawhi wanted to be back home in LA, didn't really want to join LeBron, his heart really was with the Clips, and he DID shock the basketball world.

I'm still giddy off this sh*t! Its the talk of the town right now. Lob City was nothing like this. It just feels different. Laker fans are tryin' to laugh it off but you can feel that shakiness in their tone of voice. That braggadocio confidence ain't really hittin' like it normally does. :lol:

Well, we haven't won anything yet but you could say we EARNED this. Sterling didn't earn the trade that brought us Chris Paul and if we "earned" Blake it was because we were the worst team in the league.

So it's OK to enjoy it, bro. Best owner, best FO, a championship coach who created a 48-win team out of NBA rejects. Pat, Lou, Trezz are still here, the best bench in the NBA. Built from the ground up instead of the Lakers' top down.

I had posted that hope when I guessed the delay was in the Clippers' favor, but as much as it did turn out that Kawhi's heart was with the Clippers, he also decided he just couldn't go through what he just went through with the Raptors, carrying that team single-handedly.

He was exhausted, physically, mentally, spiritually. Just couldn't face it again. That's why he wasn't playing the Lakers--despite his misgivings, he was gonna go there if the Clips couldn't pull it off.
