Lakers 2019 Strategy Thread

1. One the damned $ to hire the best shooting coach, Chip Engelland from the Spurs (he's the one who tweaked Kawhi's form). Wing players must now dedicate the next 3 months to 3pt and FT shooting,body conditioning and lateral quickness.
2.Coaches to watch a ton of tapes to best come up with the best offensive and defensive schemes.
3. Rajon to lead the bench. I didn't want Rondo back bec he's terrible next to Lebron but signing AD and Cousins made some sense bec Rajon worked well with them esp AD. Pelicans Swept the Blazers 2 playoffs ago with Rondo averaging 11pts, 13 assists and 7.5 rebounds.

His defense would be a concern but I have to wonder how he did vs the Blazers bec he had to guard either Lillard or CJ in that series.
4. Lakers to start AD, LBJ, Caruso, Green and McGee. AD sits after 6 mins for Kuz. AD teams up with DMC, Rondo, Cook or Daniels (both 38+ 3pt shooters) and KCP to hopefully replicate how the Pelicans did it 2 years ago. Hollins to spearhead and concoct 4 sets with multiple options.
5. They must Hire Ron Adams to set up their defensive schemes (the genius behind Thibs at the Bulls, Thibs got exposed without him). This will be a concern esp with Vogel being a disaster in Orlando. They were better in defensive rating BEFORE AND AFTER he got there.
