Grant was an asset.

They better go ahead and trade Russ before the season. His value will only go down once he's playing with this depleted roster trying to carry it and looking terrible.

But, the Knicks can't bid on him. They are the team that wants a super star so bad. I think you wave to wait and see what they are willing to pay for him.

The Knicks can bid they just can’t execute until December 15th. However, the Knicks won’t bid just like they didn’t on Anthony Davis or make a max offer for kd.

Any idea if Presti has any press conference to address all of this or do we have to wait until the start of the season?

After a Westbrook trade we could go on a super star drought for the next 20 years. The Thunder are set up to make moves and they have a GM that can get it done. But, its not easy to find a super star. Here is to hoping this re-build works out.

Thunder are still $5.5 over the tax. I fully expect them to dip under the Tax by the trade deadline.

No use worrying about when/if we get another superstar at this point. We have no choice. Even in a baseline scenario where we just keep Russ and let him play it out he won't be anything but a shell of his former superstar self by the end of that contract.

My guess is that Presti holds a conference after Russ is moved. No reason to hold one over trading a mediocre Grant and having one after PG would have been nothing except questions about trading Russ and who else is available.

Gotta start marketing SGA to the fansbase.

trading russell westbrook opens the door up a bit wider for a dual jersey retirement ceremony for him and kevin durant after they both retire.

I am going to say that SGA ends up being a better player than Russ. I realize that will be an unpopular statement, but when you watch him play regularly you will see the high ceiling and that some aspects of his game already exceed Russ.

I plan on getting a SGA jersey t-shirt. It will be the first player specific thunder gear I have gotten.

SGA has me excited. I just hope he wants to be here in four years.

I really don't think they'll retire Durant's jersey. If they were going to, they wouldn't have given 35 out already. But I am 100% confident they'd never soil Russ' night by including Durant. I get you're probably trolling us, but I needed to put that out into the universe.

Wish I could to do the same but I need to remove my Durant tatoo first.

Is there any update on Muscala and or Burks? Can Presti get his money back for his flight to Minnesota to recruit Muscala?
