At this point I’d have considered this guy a steal if we got him with the 14th pick. What the **** were all the front offices thinking not drafting a 7’7” 300-pound guy with skill, mobility, brains, and competitiveness?

No clue and I’ll throw another one at ya. The guy is an absolute marketing dream for any owner. How can you not burn a late second on this guy? He’s a license to print money for a small market team on a tight budget.

Signing him at this point is a no brainer, Yabu is probably gone (hopefully). I do think he could get minutes off the bench this season. They will probably start him off in Maine though.

I get a feeling Brad will insert him in last minute crucial possessions in the 4th quarter only to mess the opponent's defenses. If played right, he could really be a game changer.

He's a good kid and a worthwhile developmental project, but the reality is that he's going to get PnR'd to death against any real NBA team. And he can't be very effective on D against a stretch 5 or if a team goes small either.

He needs some time to work on those areas but I'd gladly put him on the team over some other guys... like Yabu for example.

I think they ignore him because bigs like Embiid gasol draymond will push him around way too easily. Or that's the expectation. His size won't be such an advantage against guys with a lot of psysicality and strength. Plus he isn't 20 so don't expect a lot of development there. He looks fragile.

Don't know whether this has already been posted, but Fall has a contract with an "Exhibit 10" attachment. Here's what that means:

Spoiler:
83. Can a Two-Way player be converted to a regular NBA player? Can a regular NBA player be converted to a Two-Way player? What is Exhibit 10?

If a standard NBA contract includes an attachment called Exhibit 10, the team receives the right to convert the contract to a Two-Way contract. Whether or not an eligible contract includes an Exhibit 10 is a matter of negotiation between the player and team. To be eligible to contain an Exhibit 10, a contract must be for one season at the minimum salary, with no bonuses of any kind (other than an optional Exhibit 10 bonus), and no compensation protection (see question number 63)1.

An Exhibit 10 bonus can pay the player from $5,000 to $50,000 if the player is waived by his NBA team, signs with the G-League, is assigned to the NBA team's G-League affiliate, and stays there at least 60 days. A team can only add an Exhibit 10 bonus if the team actually has a G-League affiliate team. An Exhibit 10 can also specify a Conversion Protection Amount between $5,000 and $50,000, which becomes compensation protection if the contract is converted to a Two-Way contract. If a contract contains an Exhibit 10 bonus it must also contain a Conversion Protection Amount in the same amount.

Other rules related to Exhibit 10:

A team can have no more than six contracts that contain an Exhibit 10 in effect at any time.
A contract must be converted to a Two-Way contract prior to the start of the regular season (including during the July Moratorium).
A contract can have both an Exhibit 9 (limiting the team's liability in the event he is injured (see question number 70) and an Exhibit 10. If the contract is converted to a Two-Way contract, the Exhibit 9 becomes null and void.
A standard NBA contract with an Exhibit 10 that is converted to a Two-Way contract can later be converted back to a standard NBA contract.
If a second round draft pick signs his required tender (a contract offer the team submits in order to retain the player's draft rights) and is later waived, that team is the only team that can convert the player to a Two-Way player for the remainder of that season.
Exhibit 10 bonuses are not counted as Team Salary (see question number 13), but they are included in league-wide total salaries (see question number 15).
Any Two-Way contract can be converted to a standard NBA contract at the team’s option. A Two-Way contract can be converted from the start of the July Moratorium through the day of the team’s last regular season game in the last year of the Two-Way contract. Once converted, the contract becomes a standard NBA contract that is in effect for the remainder of the term of the Two-Way contract. The player’s salary becomes the NBA minimum salary based on his years of service (pro-rated based on when the contract is converted). If the contract contains an Exhibit 10 bonus, the bonus amount converts to a salary guarantee.

If a Two-Way contract is converted to a standard NBA contract, the regular trade restriction exists for the first three months or until December 15, whichever is later (see question number 101). The three month period begins on the date the contract is converted.

In lieu of converting a Two-Way contract to a standard NBA contract, teams and players are also free to negotiate and sign a standard NBA contract. If a new NBA contract is signed, the Two-Way contract becomes null and void.

1 A contract that contains an Exhibit 10 also cannot be extended or renegotiated, and cannot contain an international player payment (see question number 77).

I feel like we need to ink Tacko to a 2 way....some other team is going to snatch him up.
He may not ever pan out but he has a lot better chance than many I drafted guys imo. Currently, any team could sign him, let’s at least protect our interest in him. With waters we have draft rights so we can wait a little bit on him and decide to replace Strus or Yabu.

Besides his ability, fans love him. So he surely is going to be signed somewhere. I hope a two-way suffices to get it done.

Danny's penance for putting us through last season is to sign Tacko. If no Tacko, we riot.

HE'S A BEAST! 12 points in 12 mins on 5 for 5 shooting. Other teams avoid the paint when he's playing and his man never leaves him so our guards can just dribble around him and shoot layup drills all game.

Sign him. Forget fat yabs.

Shun the non believers.

I think this guy is growing into his body — and adding some good muscle to it. Plus he looks better without the goggles. I predict people will start taking him more seriously soon!

Footwork is way better than I anticipated. Still not really sure if he has the speed to be competitive enough in the NBA but certainly worth a look.

The team currently has the option to sign him to a 2-way (at a minimum). As far as I can tell, no other team can intervene at this point.

I liked Fall but this is still summer league. He does seem to be moving a lot better than he did even in the NCAA's. I never understood the skepticism about his ability to play NBA basketball but I do understand expecting his role to be limited.

Correct the process now is to convert the Exhibit 10 to either a two way contract or rookie minimum deal by the start of the season. This is at Boston's option now so Fall has essentially signed with Boston and Boston would have to waive him for him to go to another team. If he is waived and clears wiavers and wants to go to the G League then he would be assigned to Maine.
