solid.

I just remind myself that we'd be paying Tony Snell and Miles Plumlee a combined $23m next year otherwise.

I put most of this on Hammonds and Kidd, even Snell.

That said, if/when the Middleton contract becomes a boat anchor.....fair game on Horst.

I tend to forget that Horst was the one that extended Snell. Hammond would have given out the same extension.

So per spotrac we now lead the nba in dead cap. I now assume when people refer to Horst as cap guru it’s out of sarcasm, akin to when someone 7 feet tall is nicknamed Tiny.

Giannis + Connaughton net rating suggests likewise. Pat's a hooper.

Horst's foot must be in worst shape than Brogdon's after all that kicking of the can the past two years.

(Note: Looked up the background of kicking the can down the road and it does not make sense)

Fur serious tho, having no means of taking in the TpE while adding more dead salary to their Cap is so utterly Bucks. It brings me back to those Horsty comments early in his tenure akin to: ‘Man, Gm’ng is hard and watching game tape is, well, not fun!’ An uninspired start to our off-season.

It’s not that he can’t stay with guys. It’s that he goes flying by them anytime they pump fake

Hawes is off the books next year. How long will Jon be stretched?

Bill Michaels advocating for Russell Westbrook was enough to scare LED off the pursuit.

He thought we could trade Bledsoe for him.

Is this comment based on value or cap? With the timing and cap restrictions not considered, I wouldn't be surprised if Bledsoe, Pacers 1st, DDV, Wilson and filler got us close. They get some positive value players and save a ton down the road. I'm not sure Russ has that much positive value at this point in time and will get worse as he gets older/OKC starts off as a bottom-feeder.

I have a feeling we end up with Korver and thats our last deal and maybe Pau too. I'm fine with that. I'd like a guy like Covington but wont cross my fingers. Have a feeling that Pacers pick will be moved although it would be nice to keep it as a chip for a midseason trade.

I’ll take Shelvin Mack and Lance Thomas on minimums and call it an offseason.
