Interesting that Okogie is being PRed by Minnesota media. I assume that Tyus is kind of hidden because of his RFA status. It is understandable since whole PG situation is unclear now. I think we kind of preparing to live without him, Nowell might be our assurance in case Tyus is leaving. So probably it will take whole off-season. I wish we could trade Teague, get Russell and re-sign Tyus because Russell/Tyus duo will be ideal in terms of skillset.

I hope we keep Josh he is the kind of guy every team needs, giving 110 percent effort all the time, hope it rubs off on the rookies.

Not only is he in the gym as much as anyone, but now he's hangin' with Rosas and other front office folks. Starting to wonder if we won't let him go in any cap-cutting moves.

It is, but it speaks to the lack of longevity among most players in this franchise.

Case in point: If Gorgui makes it to next season, he'll be in his 7th season with the team, tying him with Wally Szczerbiak for 4th-longest Timberwolves career by a player in franchise history. And Andrew would be in his 6th season, which would be tied for 6th longest all-time. Just 17 players have played 5 years in Minnesota, but Towns will and Jones could add to that number.

The roster turnover is a good point.

It should also be noted that KAT and Wiggins have been tremendously healthy. When we think of value, we tend to focus on per game stats. However, part of a player’s value is his season totals — how much production did I get when I paid you for the season? We need to balance focusing on per game stats with cumulative stats.

Okogie knows how to butter up the new boss. Making it real hard for Rosas to dump him, probably going to move into the Rosas guest house.

Shrink good point about the durability. We have really been lucky with our star player here. KAT and Wiggins are definitely iron men. So many team have their players miss 10+ games a season. Rocco and Jimmy injuries really highlighted to me how fortunate we have been. If KAT went down for 30 games we would be in deep trouble.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

If he's not there with a shooting coach, time to go to bed.

Got to love him. But I just can't escape the fact he's going to do it again. 1 game on fire, 3 games playing Brewer.

Was that photo shopped? Someone's left leg is missing and there is no reflection on the floor below him.

I'm happy about the new NBA Challenges being approved but there should of been a total of 2 challenges -- one in the first half, and one in the second half.

I agree. Would maybe help stop or slow the refs from jacking Towns with early game ghost fouls.

Instead of a single Challenge that force a ref review, I think it would be interesting if the coach had one Right of Refusal. So if they think it's a horribly fake foul call they can just outright overrule it and the game just proceeds from there. It would probably lead to coaches never using it until waning seconds where an opponent gets an and1 or a foul shot of any kind. But that would be the choice, hold it for possibly later or use it when it's needed earlier. Might stop some games from being won by a lousy foul shotl at the end anyway.

Can someone explain why he waited until April 1st before having surgery? Didn't he get hurt last year?
Or did they think it would heal with rehab. If so, what a waste of time.
