Langston Walker
That's going to be my name for him from now on
EDIT: What would be even funnier is if Langlois actually had a friend named that watching summer league and just casually dropped his name in the tweet alongside the players

Re: Las Vegas Summer League 2019
Bruce Brown is a useful player. Its amusing to me some on this board are saying he might not even be in the rotation next season. People way overrate shooting, at the cost of overlooking all the other facets of the game.
With all three of Brown/Svi/Thomas having solid summer league showings, it just furthers my dislike of having the presence of Tony Snell around. Snell is such a limited, very low impact player. Other than his contract, there really isn't much of a reason why he should be playing, thus blocking the potential development of any of those three. We've seen Snell's ceiling, all three Brown/Thomas/Svi have higher potential ceilings than Snell.
Donta Hall looks like he might have some defensive/rebounding potential. When I say potential, I mean worthy of a roster spot potential. Not so much worthy of being the backup center potential. He should get a training camp invite for a deeper looksie, but if he keeps showing well someone might snatch him up on a 2 way contract.

Eh. I’ve moved on in my mind. Doesn’t worry me anymore.

After watching the summer team I really think we should move Galloway, we got a lot of guys who can play the sg, either upgrade somehow, or move Galloway so the others can progress, Thomas look real solid valid of a long rotation play.

King looks bad.
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Re: Las Vegas Summer League 2019
Definitely agree, but I felt that way last season haha.
I think a combo of brown, Thomas and Svi are more than capable of doing what Galloway had been doing with the potential of becoming more. Galloway is what he is and that's not great.
Ideally we can move him for a backup centre and give those young guys a chance.

God, SL on ESPNU is horrible. The game is secondary to their talking heads and their promotion of gambling. I don't think I've ever said STFU to the TV more in my life.

Too bad Galloway cant be traded to someone with cap room for a 2024 second rounder.
He needs to get out and the Pistons could use the cap space and opening up playing time.

Haven't watched the games, do people think Svi could be in the rotation this year?

Stretch release him and you gain near $5M space this year and open up another roster spot. Comes down to if you think you can upgrade the roster with a vet minimum signing or two with the created tax breathing room.

For the love of god please no more stretch releases. He’s on his final year, let’s just ride it out and be done with it. We have no obligation to give him playing time anyway.
