Don't look now but NYK want another PF. Morris wants to rebuff the Spurs and go to NY.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Does any know why we didn't use our exception yet? We have a massive hole for backup wing and have just left it completely unaddressed. I hope it's not because Holiday is what they are focused on.

We're likely waiting for the Harrison situation to resolve itself.

I think the front office wants to make a roster subtraction (or two) before they add any more guaranteed contracts.

What about Livingston...not a 3pt shooter, but could fit the back-up SG role next to Coby.

Do we need a shooting guard though?
All of LaVine, White, Sato and Valentine can shift to shooting guard spot.
Not that I don't like Livingston, but I also don't think he would consider the Bulls and will likely go to a contender.
Why so serious?

Livingston is going to go to one of the LA teams I bet.

Re: NBA FA Signings / Available players
Shaun Livingston? Guy was done for much of the playoffs playing on and around superstars; why you want him here? To do what? Force Coby to the bench? Ok, that's fine if you want but are you (the person reading this) ok with White starting the year with Windy City to get reps? But I don't really love the idea of him because veterans put themselves through all that and win 40 games aren't always great teammates.

Difficult because they're locked in to Felicio, Dunn, and Blakeney...those guys have little to no value on the market.

If the 2 LA teams aren't interested in Livingston, I'd love for the Bulls to sign him. Adds depth and more veteran leadership in the locker room. Plus a Chicago kid.

Started his career with the Clippers, and has a good chance to end it there with a ring. Would be a nice little story considering his career arc.
Reinsdorf & Co. - sell the team!!

Kinda bummed about Nwaba signing with Brooklyn. He's just a role player, but if we're looking for a 2/3 defender off the bench - and I think we should be - he was probably the best remaining FA.
All aboard the Holiday train, I guess.

Why not Shaq? Or has he signed elsewhere and I missed it? He can re-sign with us even though we waived him right? Would rather bring him back than Justin.

I’d be more than OK with Shaq. Just assumed the Bulls had scratched him off their list, which isn’t necessarily true.

We should waive (stretch?) Blakeney (I mean the $ is nearly negligible) and just re-sign Harrison if he wants to come back.

Yep, we should get rid of Blakeney.. If Boylen is serious about counting on Dunn, maybe thats why we didnt bring Shaq back, yet..
Satoransky, Dunn, Arcidiacono
Lavine, White, Valentine
Porter, Harrison, Hutchinson
There is a lot of versatility, defense and offense.
Would be my choice for league start.

Mokoka is also a very good wing defender. At least Sg's, maybe not sf's. He might have more long term potential than Shaq.

Re: NBA FA Signings / Available players
So the Nets signed David Nwabe to a 2-year deal. What a shame for the Bulls. That guy has guts and talent; he just can't (yet) shoot the 3 at an acceptable 2000-teens-era level. IMO, if a team signs him and gets their coaches to work almost exclusively with him on the 3 ball, he could become an extremely valuable role player on a value contract. Wonder why the Bulls declined to follow through with him?

I like M better than shaq and nwaba. His 3 ball already looks light years ahead and his D is really good. None of these guys would get more than injury mins for us. I’d rather someone that has true rotation potential and doesn’t kill our spacing.
