Bilateral heel bursitis in his left foot and Horst said he's healthy but didn't need to compete in summer league because they know he is already good enough and they don't want to risk anything.

Yeah somethings seems off. He either is fully healthy or not. If he isn’t fully healthy, it’s been a long time and worrisome.

He tore his achilles 4 years ago and he's averaged 33 MPG and 70 starts a season since then. I don't think starting him for 20-25 MPG is asking too much.

Hopefully he is still good enough to warrant that kind of clock on a championship-caliber team!

Could see that being the plan.

Or I could see the Bucks planning to start Hill, who was one of our best players in the ECF, and who has a big long term contract now to show for it.

Right now I think Wesley is more critical as backup 3 than as starting 2.

Probably has something to do with it being a better roster then the one that won two playoff series and the team that beat them losing their best player

Get this man. And get this Diallo guy too. He seems alright.

Edit: I have no idea how to format that.

If we had a TPE, we could probably just absorb him for a 2nd and still be under the tax... :banghead:

We need another skilled wing and another skilled guard.

Acquiring the skilled wing will be a challenge, imo.

If we're looking for proven contributor FA, maybe Korver, Livingston, or Deng have something left? Iguodala would be ideal, but I'm going to guess he's not a fan of Milwaukee.

I doubt a trade for a good player happens without sending out a rotation contract and at least one decent pick.

Not a ranking but:
Trey Burke
T. Luwawu
Shelvin Mack
Korkmaz

I'd say Oubre but I still think a team throws him a nice deal. Also intrigued by Wayne Selden, have been since his college days, and wonder how much Crawford has left.

It might be worthwhile to keep two spots and both 2-ways open for a training camp royal rumble. Would definitely up the stakes for September/early October.

George Hill in the starting lineup makes our offense less dependent on Bledsoe’s jitters.

It’s not like Hill is an energy guy off the bench anyways.

Unless we get a different upgrade to Brogdon, why wouldn’t we start him?

I could see the team saying / rationalizing that they basically chose Hill over Brogdon (and he just so happened to be half the cost taking us beneath the luxury tax).

Brogdon wanted to handle the ball more but it’s also possible Budenholzer saw Hill as a preferable veteran floor general. Brogdon is a way better scorer, however, that helps us less when really what we need is for Bledsoe to not bring up the ball.

Korkmaz signed a contract with Turkish basketball club Fenerbahçe Beko.

I'd definitely give one spot to Korver if we get and/or Cheick Diallo if they'd take vet min contracts. I like those two guys and they're still out there.

You listen to the latest LOB? Thought they made some very astute points about the Thanasis signing.

Might have already been discussed, but shouldn't we leave a spot open for a late season buyout player? Instead of having to unload assets to sign them?

Because hes a steadying presence off the bench and it allows him beat up on 2nd units instead of blending into the starting lineup..... Just a thought

He can play 25-30 minutes a night off the bench. Theres little to no reason to start him unless injuries hit

I’ll be really bummed* if one of the spots goes to another local charity case in Sam Dekker.

*In the context of reaction to Bucks transactions. Feel like that’s weirdly become a necessary caveat these days.
