Do you mean they are taking back too much salary or do you mean the fact that they can't waive JR themselves? Because they take back 200k less in that trade plus if they were planning on waiving JR themselves they would have done so by now.

He's probably a Top 3 athlete. But a Top 15 ball player Doc. There inlies the difference - it's between the ears that brings Russ undone.

I don't think he will stay in OKC. It's a matter of OKC finding the right destination that Westbrook is fine with AND OKC getting the assets they would like. No one's seeing eye to eye. We didn't want to give up our young players (as we shouldn't), maybe OKC did want them and we did say no and that delays things. Detroit could have a better package, but Westbrook is hesitant despite Blake and Drummond being there. Who knows!
