Svi destroyed in SL last season. He is great against lesser competition, he was absolutely awful against NBA players. I hope he is an all star this season but I honestly think he will strugle again and will be a G-League MVP player for his career.

I'd like to sign Donta Hall with a Moreland-like contract.

Yep. Moreland Contract is good for me.

Bone and go after another SF for our 2 way. Not sold on King. I had hopes for him.

The homer in me thinks that a year or 2 with D. Rose and Casey that Brown could play the 1 at a high level. He has great vision just needs to work on a consistent shot. His defense has always been great.

I posted this in the first half of the game, long before he notched the SL's first triple double of the year. Nice.

Brown is getting more confident running the point and put up good numbers across the board. The one thing we have not seen during the summer is any outside shot. Most of his scores are all drives and FTs. They are going to force him to shoot when the NBA season rolls along and not play up on him like the summer league.

Bone looked more comfortable today. Showed off some of the athleticism and also hit a couple 3. He still forces things at times, but not surprising due to the fact he has had to wait so long to play. It was worth the 2 way bet on him so far.

King had a couple dunks but not much else today. Raw and will need to work on his game to gain more confidence at this level.

Svi did not shoot the ball much today or get the chance to , but he passed some nice dimes to Costello and a few other where they could not finish. He has a good all around game and think he should get some minutes this season. He handles the ball well for a Wing and also worked hard on defense today..

D. Hall - He does not have much offensive game, but just does the little stuff that wins games. Plays good defense, rebounds, block shots, always hustling and being active.

Thomas - He as up and down today. At times he looks so smooth with his shot and dribble, and other times he is turning the ball over and forcing it at times. He does plays good defense and looked solid again today.

The 37th pick - Can't remember spelling of his name but again he got little run today. I think he got in at the end of the second quarter and towards the end of the game. He needs time and needs to work on his body and athleticism. He has showed a decent stroke at times, but has played too little to get a full read on him, other than he is a few years away from competing for a roster spot.

Costello - showing better than expected and hit some threes today, in addition to scoring inside. I think he had close to 18 points. He also probably could of had another ten points if he could finish a little better. He received some nice passes from SVi and others and either got blocked or could not finish. Still plays hard, always active, rebounded well again, always setting screens for his teammates and was decent on defense.

Quado - got in at the end and got his first shot. That was it.... Wish my Spartan buddy well wherever he ends up..

Is there a championship game for the Vegas summer league? Do they play another 4-0 team?

More experience is good.

the more I see Iggy look like he belongs in the NBA with the Knicks the more the draft of pick 37 pisses me off. I like deividas but it seems like an unnecessary stash. Iggy is fearless and can crack a rotation right now

the pistons constantly ignore talent from Michigan/MSU (But mostly Michigan)

So happy that brown is putting together a solid summer league. He's going to be a key role guy for us this year. Hopefully he can put more play making/offense together with his defense. He's been good.

Surprised by Brown's play at PG honestly. He looks comfortable handling the ball and has decent vision actually.

Why is Bruce so focused on playmaking in this Summer League? Won't Tim Frazier be a more natural 3rd PG off the bench than him when the season starts?

As primary ball-handler, Brown has probably had more chances at breaking down the defense and attacking the rim. But the real leap that he needs to make is in perimeter catch-&-shoot situations... He needs to find his spots & shooting rhythm in in-game situations. It's only been a small sample size, but -- correct me if I'm wrong -- I don't think his 3FG% has shown any improvement? Bruce really ought to use these SL 'practice games' as an opportunity to work on his shooting mechanics and try to shoot himself into rhythm, even if he ends up chucking the team out of the SL semis.

Does Casey actually intend to utilize Brown as PG to discourage the defense from slacking off him too much and preserve spacing on the floor? Because if that isn't the purpose of this experiment, then his stellar playmaking in SL isn't really gonna translate into flipping him from being a liability on offense when the season gets underway.
