Chris Paul total missed games last two seasons: 48

Westbrook total missed games the last 4 years: 14

Chris Paul is a top 5 point guard ever, but age and attrition are hitting him hard. He can't play 70 games, much less 82.

This is fair, I just wanted to point out that WB isn't good enough to completely mull over acquiring CP if the latter will be cheaper both by $ and assets

Ditto... Westbrook gets you the best deal as a knee jerk reaction. Presti getting greedy has given others too much time to think this through thus allowing them to see more clearly that this is not such a great situation to be in. I mean, OKC is already feeling the heat of that contract and they are barely a year into it. His best offers were probably the first ones.

I'm a huge fan of Chris Paul. I see all the same problems with injuries and the huge contract as I do with Westbrook...

During his 11-year career Russ has:

he needed help so they got Paul George
2017-2018 : lost against the Jazz 4 - 2, he got dominated by a rookie called Donovan Mitchell but but but he had a triple double in the regular season
2018 - 2019 : lost against the Blazers 4 - 1, talking **** the whole season but he got destroyed by Dame and he left PG defending Dame because he was totally dominated

PG dumped Mister triple double during the regular season, sorry bro, it was fun but we will never have a chance together.

If you want fun and talk triple double in GB during the regular season, there is no doubt you take Westbrook
But if you want to go deep in the playoffs, you take CP3. He is a true passer not a stat padder, he will set the right play for you to be wide open.

34 year-old CP3 still kicked ass in the home stretch. Give Nunn and Herro the lion's share of the minutes and run CP3 through the playoffs.

I understand those who don't know want Westbrook to Miami. Could make a case for going after him or not. Both have arguments.
But this forum was on fire last two days by the idea of Westbrook going to Miami but now you guys don't want to trade Winslow (by far your worst asset) to get him. A bit weird...

Worst asset is hyperbole. Right now Winslow is the best all around basketball player of the 3, and contrary to the popular opinion it's not even close.

thought Herro/Bam were considered better assets by a wild margin (at least from what I read here)

Don't know if they're considered better assets(lots of parables to come from that) but Winslow's easily the better player of the 3, so you both could be right

Sometimes a change of scenery is what's needed. He'd also be playing in an easier conference.

Willing to take the chance on the league MVP/ triple double monster. I don't see the downside. Miami didn't even make the playoffs last year and is likely a 6-8 seed this upcoming season. Take the chance and if it pays off we'll all be giddy.

My suggestion for Chris Paul and picks coming back seems better than sending out picks for Russell Westbrook, when you consider both players are good starting point guards, have about the same chance of playing well until the end of their contracts (despite the difference in age), Chris Paul being a better team leader (plus as HEATlanta mentions, president of the player's union, which is an organization the players and all good fans support and respect)... plus he'll take us to the ECF.

If these are the options:

(a) Trade Goran/Waiters/JJ for Chris Paul and a pick.
(b) Trade Goran/Winslow/JJ for Chris Paul and two picks.
(c) Trade Goran/Winslow/filler/picks for Westbrook
(d) Do nothing.

I'm not taking C.
