Wow that’s a pretty good trade for the rockets! Can Cp3 work on a buyout? His career is pretty much over with OKC, can’t imagine him staying there.

I thought Westbrook and Harden were a terrible fit?

He's president of the Players' union. I don't think he's walking away from a penny. He will pout his way out, and Presti will gladly trade him off for more picks.

This trade makes so much more sense for Houston than any of those Capella trades which never made any sense to me. Houston should be fun to watch if nothing else.

I think he will work on a buyout and join the lakers for the vet min. They would be hard pressed to find a trade partner. A buy out is the most likely scenario.

That’ll be one expensive buyout.

That is a lot of money to walk away from. 3 years.....$124 million.....plus OKC is still paying the luxury tax even if they buy him out.

Yeah i agree! That’s too much money to walk away from. I guess Harden and Hou really screwed him!

Why would a person ever give up on the NBA? This is the best league out there. Total chaos for a month now.

You think he will leave $124 million dollars on the table? Sam Presti would hurt his shoulder worse than Markelle Fultz doing cartwheels if CP3 would walk away. I personally will not be holding my breath.

More likely OKC sacrifices one of those picks to move him somewhere else. That could be a windfall for them. Or not.

I doubt that is possible. He is owed like over 100 mil.

They will probably eat the money unless Paul gives up a lot in a buyout.

No one is taking their money as a free agent the next couple of years, and he is a massive $44m expiring in 2021-22.

Yeah, some team is going to be after him surely.
