I'll pass on Chris Paul before anyone brings him up.

No thanks. Only way Paul makes sense is if we're seriously going all in and doing some other trades to get like Beal and a starting C.

And can he even be traded again now that he was just traded?

nest season should be all about developing the young guys and trying to win a playoff series.

Thank you , finally someone that gets it.

I agree 100%. We're on the clock and facing 2 potential wasted years. Brilliant. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I feel bad for OKC fans. That is a team with truly awful management

How is this bad for okc? They stay hauling picks

I mean...did you even see the reports for what they wanted from us compared to what they ended up accepting? lol

But I guess its not bad deal for them per say. I think its worse than the immediate cap relief we were offering though, and I doubt all those picks they're hauling amount to anything for them or for any trade partner they might be trying to hoard them for.

Then again, OKC might have been seeing it like since they're not really a destination, what do they need cap space for bc no one will sign there. Idk. Either way I don't care much and I'm glad we didn't trade any young players for him.

Meh, i don't read too much into supposed offers/rumors. Can't know for certain what teams are actually asking for unless we're in the room, plus teams will ask for the world as the starting point

Good thing is Pat’s gonna send Presti’s calls straight to voicemail.

Nah. It would have been a 3 team trade imo. Pat isn’t going to help Presti and OKC with nada.

What you guys don't get is that a depleted team with just Butler and Westbrook wins nothing PLUS Westbrook takes you out of 2021 free agency.

Houston has failed to make Howard, Melo and Paul to work with DAntoni. Now they try Russ smh

Butler will make us stronger players in 2021 than we'd have been with J-Rich. So no. Having him is better for the development of the young guys as well, more competitive team.

We’ll have a 32 year old Butler making $36 million eating away at the cap space we could use for younger all stars. If Bam develops, he’ll be asking for 15-20 million that offseason too. Maybe Riley can pull something out of his ass, but seems like a lateral move. We’ll see.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

You can put off resigning the younger players till the free agents are signed, it'll just be their cap hold eating into some of the space till then.
