I'm not sure why we are getting clowned. OKC got a good deal. Houston offered more. Only so much we can do. We aren't going to blow up the roster and have Jimmy and Westbrook with nobody around them.

I think the Thunder could be better than the Rockets in 2-3 seasons time, that's a treasure trove of draft picks that they could either use or flip off in trades.

The Lakers got a superstar level player giving up a load of picks, the Thunder could do the same and get right back into the thick of things. And with the new odds in the lottery, it could be a quick rebuild for that franchise.

Why are swaps being listed there. They could end up being nothing

Those people consider the haul light.. I wouldn’t look too deeply into it. Miami can still be in play for CP3 which is probably better for ya anyways.

Or they could end up being very important.

That’s why they are mentioned.

No thanks to CP3. He's on the decline and his contract is even worse.

Westbrook must’ve preferred Houston. They probably could’ve gotten more. CP3 is a negative in itself

I can def see fans not liking it, but gotta do something w Butler. In terms of value/talent trade offs, won’t do much better than CP3

Demar DeRozan for Kawhi Leonard happened a year ago dude

Kwame for Gasol was another superstar for superstar trade

Good lawd

Well this is interesting!

Gonna be fun, regardless... I'm doubting the discipline will be there, but, who knows, there could be enough of a balance.

Westbrook has one more year and he wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire this past season. He looks to be on the decline himself and his should be much steeper considering how much of his game revolves around athleticism. Paul should still, at the very least, be a top 20-25 player in the league the next two seasons. He's also a much better fit next to Butler. The biggest issue with him is actually making it onto the court. I see him having a very strong bounce back season now that he isn't stuck just watching Harden dribble around and launch 10 step back 3pters a game.

Crazy amount of picks to give up if you're Houston. Guess that's what it took to get out of that CP3 contract to a large degree

Houston’s picks are likely to remain in the late 20s barring both Westbrook and Harden dropping off by 2024.

Those swaps are likely just so Presti feels nice because OKC will not finish with a better record than Houston anytime soon.

Westbrook dropped off two seasons ago. He's going to be worse than Paul. By the time the pick swaps trigger 5 years from now who knows who'll be worse.
