Unless a team like Dallas is willing to eat a large contract into a TPE, I don’t see some of these guys moving unless Presti is just turning them into crappy guys on expirings in order to bottom out.

He's gone on to say the beef between them wasnt really a thing, not to mention I think he's matured a lot since his LA days. It would be their best shot at winning at this point, I'm sure he'd be fine with it.

How many need to be top 10 for Presti to win the trades?

Forget the million dollar prize for getting a perfect bracket for March Madness. If anybody could have predicted all these trades this off-season, they would qualify for a Mark Cuban type of paycheck. And the funny thing is that it still isn't over yet. I wouldn't even want to try to guess what bombs are still forthcoming.

Given the state of the East and how the Pistons did last season, a 2020 pick probably falls between 15-20.

I remember feeling at the end of the season that BOTH Westbrook and Harden were probably feeling the need to make a change.

Harden sick of having to score 40 points a game and Westbrook sick of having to average TDs - both guys working their ass off all regular season to entertain us, only to get crapped on for underperforming in the playoffs. Westbrook having to deal w/ OKC media that he hates, Harden dealing w/ these rumors of CP3 fighting, etc.

Neither was probably looking forward to running it back as is - this is a fresh situation for both of them and they get to have each other for support. They probably understand each other more than any two players in the league honestly.

And I think this Rockets team will be great.

The Nets traded for three players who were over 35. Westbrook, Davis, and George are five years or more from there. The 2021 swap is basically useless.
