No **** way to CP.

He ruins our 2021 space. I would want 4 first round picks at least from OKC. Final. Then sign Beal in 2021. Ride out CPs contract.

I don't have any faith that Goran can stay healthy moving forward and very much doubt Mia would want to resign him next off season. Even if he isn't moved for CP3, Mia ought to continue to try to unload him for whatever they can get.

Why, he only had one injury. He returned and looked good.

The original supermax is "literally" a prison.

Alcatraz was the template that inspired the modern day supermax prison facility... truth spoken.

I was not for the the Westbrook trade...I just dislike players with low BBQ IQ since I think is almost as important as athleticism

Westbrook's game will not age well... On the other hand CP3 game does not rely on pure athleticism and there is no denying his BB IQ.

I bet you that CP3 if available to play and not injured (a big IF) can help you win more games in the next couple of years than Westbrook despite the age difference.. Cerebral PG can play into their high 30s ( think Jason Kid , John Stockton)

The advantage for the Heat would be getting a good player without having to surrender anyone from the young core and shedding some undesirable contracts (JJ, Waiters)... If we get our pick back then you have to consider it.

However I am sure OKC already check with Miami about making this a 3 team trade and Miami did not bite... Maybe they want to see how this team does the first half of the season and reevaluate at the trade deadline

And that's my best case scenario, if Spo continues from last season where he put Dragic back at PG when he returned from the injury.

Worst case is Waiters at SG and Butler at SF.

Think Winslow would be better served coming off the bench with Herro and Meyers.
I can see it for two reasons: he plays backup PG and we need a 6th man, but damn, it'd be demoralizing that he's not starting. Like, it validates that we should trade him for a star player that we know will start (assuming there's an offer).

If OKC gives us picks AND Washington everything they want for Beal, I'm in.

The only way I'm cool w CP3 is if we get

CP3
Beal/Herro
Jimmy
Winslow (ugh)/KZ
Bam/Meyers

However.... if we only get Chris Paul... and ruin 2021 for a 36 year old Chris Paul... this board will burn

Dragic is crafty as hell. His game ages very well imo

The thing is, what does OKC get in return? Because if they give us picks just to dump salary, it would've been the same trading with us in the first place for a salary dump. Unless I'm missing something.

I would say he looked OK, but he looked much better as a reserve than a starter:

March (12 games, 2 starts): 12.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.8apg, 25.4mpg, 42.7%fg, 39.6% 3fg, 63.6%ft.
April (6 games, 6 starts): 11.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 6.3apg, 32.4mpg, 37.0%fg, 29.2% 3fg, 83.3%ft.

I feel a lot more comfortable with Goran in the Wade role, if he's on the roster next season. Let him come in off the bench and push the pace, set guys up and get buckets.

*holding back vomit*

I'm taking CP3 if it nets us our first round picks back. Then make a serious run at Beal.
