Yah that's why I don't think it's a big deal. Sure Jimmy is 30, but in the long run it's probably better they have cap space plus Jimmy than what they had before.

Nope, Harden is a half-court iso player. Only time he's running is to the strip club.

Nope, Harden is a half-court iso player. Only time he's running is to the strip club.

He doesn't need to. He will pass to Russ and by the time he takes a few steps of rest Russ will have scored already.

You guys forgot the Mchale Rockets, they run and gun like crazy until Dwight came in... yes harden can run and is very good at it... harden fits any style, the question is if he likes to sacrifice a little bit or accommodate Russ... Dantoni is a genius on offense, he can made it work, but harden has to buy in...

This was the worst scoring season for CP3 in his entire career and he was still way more efficient than Westbrook. If CP3 can't take someone off the dribble what does that say about Westbrook, lol? Westbrook's scoring was truly awful, next level bad in the playoffs also.

It's going to be even worse in the Rocket's iso offense. Westbrook doesn't have any iso game.

I hate both players equally so I'm not biased, I can't believe anyone would argue that Chris Paul is a better player right now than Westbrook. Contracts aside if I had to take one and the goal was to win games I'd take Westbrick

Chris Paul might be a better fit for the Rockets today but when you take into account both contracts, skill, age, and the protections on the picks I think this is a big win for Houston.

Sorry, but you’re not going to convince me that Chris Paul is better than Westbrook. He has his flaws but you’re just being ridiculous. The Thunder got hosed here, and it’s likely because they wanted to thank Russ for his loyalty and trade him to his preferred team

My big prediction from this trade is that in three years Durant ends up at Houston and reunites the great Okc threesome for one more run at a title, the title they really should have gotten the first time around.

I have been saying this for like the past 3 years ever since KD left. Well at least the chance of this happening goes from 1% to 10% now.
