It’ll be fun to watch Houston if anything. The west is open. Westbrook/Harden/Capela/Gordon. I mean, a few injuries to the other teams and they could make a run. Plus Westbrook and harden have a few more prime years in them. Scared money don’t make money.

Morey doesn't care. Russ won't be there at that contract's end. This is what he does. I forget who he signed before Dwight and it was a poison pill contract i think, and everyone said it was horrible and no one would pay that he was stuck. Then he got Dwight. Got out of that. THen CP3 and paid the guy. Then he gets Westbrook. Idk who is next but Morey stay trying to rotate into a name player.He will trade someone and get a pick here and there, then boom do this all over again.

I am crazy to think somehow the Spurs are a dark horse to get in for Paul? It's tough right now to see how the salaries would match up right now without adding one of LA or Demar. But Pop is about to be on his last stand isnt he? Paul, Demar and LA would give him some sort of last stand. Could see Paul being ok playing for the Spurs.

I don't know. I sort of see them as a dark horse for Wall too. They could wait him out for a year. Pop gotta be at the end soon. Figured they at least give it one last go.

Wait you realize that the Rockets would’ve had to use a pick or 2 just to get rid of CP3. They instead turned him into Russel Westbrook at the expense of 2 likely later first rounders. They made out really nicely. Top 3 team in the west. Maybe even top 2

The Rockets don't want Russ. They want Jimmy Butler, and Russ is a big salary piece that we know the Heat were interested in. Look out for Morey shadow recruiting over the next few months and having the media stir up drama in Miami so, come December, Butler has already given up and forces a trade to Houston.
