There is no Winslow or no picks, if any OKC gives a pick.
But probable a pick free trade of expiring for CP3, maybe give Waiters, that 2nd year can be dumped, that the OKC price to pay, fair.
But who say Miami adds a pick just can dream on, and then cry a little, if OKC adds a pick to get rid of CP3.
But yes the buyout people are the most pointless in this topic. I mean there is a higher chance of CP3 staying in OKC and winning a Title, than a buyout happening, so you can calculate the odds and then you know how low your sentence has value :banghead:

It sucks having to lose all your stars but if you had to, this is the way to do it.

Agreed. I am very impressed with what they got from blowing up team that were destined for 1st round exit every year. Now it feels like they have future.

I don't understand why people are so high on this "collection of picks". Clips and Rockets picks will likely be late first rounders.

I don't get it either. Watch OKC have to give one of their Miami picks back to Miami to trade Paul. Lol.

okc already has to have had a deal they liked on the table for cp3 to a 3rd team that was there before they did the houston trade...but didnt meet the cba and they had to wait.
i would be surprised if cp3 ever wheres a thunder jersey

I think a 3 way trade is needed, and believe Miami is one of them. Still waiting for the Cavs to do something with JR contract, as well as Love. Think they have been unusually quiet, and could be the third team. I think Tristan Thompson would be a perfect fit in Miami, with Paul and Butler would be a very tough minded defensive team, and Tristan is an expiring. Cavs get Adams +, OKC gets Love and JR plus Dragic....plus some missing parts, etc.

OKC needs to get a prospect in this deal. They should of at least got House Jr for taking Paul for Westbrook

how about Green and KCP for CP3 who agrees to a paycut?

Green is untouchable imo. He unlocks the Lakers' spacing, and is more valuable than Paul alone. Plus I think KCP has a trade block clause. I actually think it's impossible.

Haha people are nuts man...

...God there are some dumb sports fans out there. CP3 is a NEGATIVE asset. Nobody wants to deal with his horrendous contract. We gotta give up Winslow to take on a negative asset? Hell no. OKC should be giving US our picks back.

Paul will play for OKC until Dec 15th, maybe every 2nd game under a big load management schedule and then be dealt to LAL.

James ain't going to play the point all season.

It might not be his preferred destination but this deal would be best for everyone. He's probably going to Detroit. Can't see Riley making a bad move like this.

I would definitely do it for them if JJ and Dion are included. I think both are serious overpays.

But both of them expire next summer. We’ll have cap to play with in 2021.

Knicks could have been a good landing spot for him considering he’d probably love to play in NY and their would be zero pressure to the make the playoffs. It would set them up nicely for 2021 because they could be a playoff team similar to the Nets with incoming draft picks, a veteran presence and at possibly some budding young talent. But then again that would require the Knicks to have competent management.

One of these things is not like the other.

They can do it but would have to send Green and KCP plus filler.

Can CP3 be traded immediately or it has to be after 30 days?

It doesn’t set them up nicely for 2021 to still be paying Chris Paul $46 million until 2022. They’d want to have hat money available for a FA.

The league finally gets some parity and you wanna throw it all away before it even begins just like that.. smh

Rondo spit on CP3 last year so I don’t know how that would work

There’s no way his “preferred destination” is Detroit and Blake.
