This has been fun, they are both playing really well for far.

Re: OT: General OT Thread [NO POLITICS OR RELIGION]
Didn't realize how badly Nadal has dominated Federer in grand slam events.
Having said that, go Roger.
Having said that, go Roger.

Having not listened but just sorta following some Twitter threads, do I have it right that Bill Michaels is on the radio defending a bigot?

It's a shame they haven't met more frequently at the Grand Slams in the past decade. They've only played 3 times in a major outside the French Open in that time period (where Rafa obviously has always dominated).

I think he just wanted to concede the set and save energy.

Probably true, but he looked how I imagine I would look trying to hit Rafa's shots, shanking them into the back wall and into the crowd.

I’m guessing you’re referring to his USWNT discussion? That was painful. He just doesn’t get it, and all of his callers agree with him.

Yeah and this is all he can come back with when challenged.

I don't know that I'd call it epic, but it was very well played and very even. Fed just took his level a little higher about halfway through the tiebreak.

Too many friends of mine would put me up there with the dentist that shot the lion for riding an elephant (their stance is its cruel). So i never did it over there, but I'm ultra jealous and I can't imagine how excited your daughter must me to be a little child on top of a friggin elephant.
Yeah I guess it is cruel. It was not supposed to happen though, I don't where TF the Thai dude had gone at the time but my girls found themselves playing with some baby elephants in some pond and kept feeding them banana leaves, and the animals looked happy and one of them kinda let them climb on his back for a while. It was pretty surreal and my brain was struggling to process what was going on at the time but I did manage to snap a photo

I'm definitely not counting Rafa out yet. Still feel like he's going to make a push in one of Fed's service games.

I somewhat checked in on this after the initial discussion, who is the bigot in question? Doesn't seem clear from the conversation I scanned.
