I trust sardine insider with my life.

LMAO! You guys can trade him elsewhere, then. He has less value than Westbrook. You cannot honestly expect him to fetch that kind of return. No clue who this Sardine guy is, but he's very very wrong if he thinks Riley gives up talent like that for a $40 million/per year Chris Paul who can only stay on the court for 3/4 of a season. Sorry guys, nothing personal, but this is clearly a smokescreen, trying to drive up the price. At this point, I wouldn't even include Derrick Jones Jr...

There is no way they are offering MORE for CP3 then they did for Westbrook.

Chris Paul has value to title contenders that might match his actual salary, the Heat need their youth to take a serious step up to get to that level, they cant trade off those players AND the Filler players to match CP3's salary and field team with something other then straight scrubs.

Then added in they have a vet PG that gives them 85% of what CP3 gives them.

I just cant see that happening. Good luck to the Thunder in moving Paul, I hope they get a great haul, i just dont suspect it will be with the Heat.

If Sam Presti were able that convince Paul to be a good mentor for the young guys for a year, that might be more impressive than the return he got for George.

I'm inclined to say he won't but if we're tanking he probably will.

Permission to have an overreaction to Darius Bazleys meaningless summer league performance?

Huge block on that last possession for Croatia. Great passing. I am IN on this dude. Pair him with SGA. But is he a 3 or a 4?

Yannis morlin actually had the block on the final play. If he bulks up I would play him at the four.

You can definitely see why they were intrigued by him. Probably ought to play a lot of D League this year but now ... who knows. Maybe they actually play him NBA minutes.

He's not like a lot of these younger guys where they just look like a stick out there. His frame, his legs in particular look pretty big already.

I’m not seeing him in the boxscore. How’d he do?

Bazley is Tayshaun Prince with better passing ability and more athleticism

He is a 3 for now until he can put some more size on his frame. Long term I think he could be a great 4.

He’s grouped with the starters. He shot 4-10, 3-5 from three.

Are we really working with Paul to send him to his preferred destination? I would hope not. He needs to go wherever we can find the best deal.

Compared to Ferguson and diallo, it looks good. Admittedly that’s not a very high bar.

If okc cant trade cp3 to miami for the players they dont want , and nobody want to trade for him , do you think that presti will try to sell the idea to wizards to get cp3 for wall contract and more picks and maybe hachimura if they want adams or gallo throw more picks, so they dont have to trade beal , wizards know that they have to trade beal and rebuild, try to sell the idea to beal they are trying or lost beal for nothing
I know wall contract is the worst and I dont want to trade Adams but Presti have a firesale and maybe getting more picks and hachimura sweet the wall contract ( dont think so !!) Is just a crazy idea

Presti should just hang on to the top 5 PG until a team decides they want to win or OKC will make one last playoff run. Think about how funny it would be if OKC makes the playoffs with CP3 and Houston misses them with Russ.

Yes, CP3 was still top 5 last year despite his shooting drop off. Houston is going to be terrible next year. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/position/1 You will find CP3 at #4.

Paul was eleventh in wins added. Stop.

Westbrook on Houston would be comical just because half their fanbase would probably lose its mind after all the slander since 2016.

On the one hand, Morey has shown himself to be a much more competent GM than Presti has so Russ would be in a better situation as well as the fact that he and Harden are still close.

On the other hand..... screw Morey. All that subtweeting during 2017 about triple doubles being "cute stats" and talk of "not my MVP" leads me to extend Morey an invitation to go play in traffic. That's before Houston tweeted that garbage when Giannis won.

https://www.si.com/nba/2019/06/25/rockets-tweets-james-harden-giannis-antetokounmpo-mvp

They deleted it because they realized it was so classless but they still sent it.

That's some #45 type of garbage.
