Does anyone know?

I think the answer's 0, but I'm not certain.

J Rich was almost an all-star, I think.

Hassan was almost there I believe. I remember he had some sort of campaign.

We paid him like he was... smh.

In fairness, we have only drafted Beasley, Bam, Winslow and Herro in the 15 years since at slots where you could realistically hope to get an All Star calibre player.

Beasley was a flat out bust.
Winslow and Bam have that potential still and it is early days.
Herro hasn't played a game yet.

All other picks have been 19th (Dorell Wright) or lower.

We've gone and secured 4 players in that time that have made the All-star game in Lebron (4), Bosh (6), Shaq (3) and Dragic (1). Wade has 13. 27 total. Miami is the team with the most All-star appearances over that period.

We did draft Caron Butler and developed him, and he became an All Star. Does that count?

Actually, it does, but did we really develop him if he was only on the team for two years?

Possibly not, but I do think he would’ve become an All Star with us regardless. He and Wade would’ve been a fun duo long term too.

Aside from Beasley being a bust, our highest pick since then has been Winslow at 10th overall.

Not a fair assessment when comparing with other teams. During Wade's tenure we had two different championship squads & in between/after mostly playoff teams.

You can't blame Riley for making the Heat so consistently good between between 2003 and 2014 that we only had one pick in the lottery.

Beasley was a bust, but Justise was the first guy we drafted in the lottery besides him since Wade. And he's still only 23.

No. He was before Wade regardless.

Still, this thread is silly. Good teams are rarely in position to draft good players and we’ve been a very good team since Wade was drafted.

Perhaps OP can point out which players we missed out on drafting? It will be a short list and probably all are from 2008.

He should have been in all star in 16-17.

Hassan came very close.

J-Rich probably could've made it if he stayed for another year. Difficult for him to make it now though, Sixers are loaded.

Ainge tanked and acquired many assets while we were tread-milling. Now I honestly feel we will win another championship before them. All he does is acquire chips but doesn't cash in on a legit star to put them over the top.

Future all stars are KZ, Herro, Bam, and Justise currently. Then whoever we draft next year.

Here is the list of players that made an All-star game that were drafted after Wades draft, and were the 10th or worse pick (in-line with where Miami drafted for all except Michael Beasley)

Kawhi, Klay, Giannis, PG13, Khris Middleton, Jokic, Lowry, Vucevic, Dragic, Draymond, M Gasol, DeAndre Jordan, Jimmy Butler, Isaiah Thomas, Paul Millsap, Jeff Teague, Roy Hibbert, David Lee, Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, Rajon Rondo, Andrew Bynum, Danny Granger, Jameer Nelson

25 players over 15 years.

I feel like I'm proving a point that I didn't want to here in the odds that Winslow, Herro or Bam become All-Stars.
