I don't know why Presti traded Westbrook for CP3 instead of waiting for a 3 team deal to be done. That was dumb and we will lose a lot of value :(

that CP3 situation has all the makings of a sh**show. if the team he wants to go to is demanding assets, imagine what the teams willing to trade knowing he doesnt want to go there will ask for.. assuming they even bother. Presti’s gotta cough up the picks or drag out an annoying situation lol

As of early evening Saturday, Oklahoma City had not offered an attractive enough package for the Heat to strongly consider trading for the final three years and $124 million of 34-year-old point guard Chris Paul’s contract.

The Heat always listens when a team calls and won’t rule out a Paul trade if the Thunder presents an overwhelming offer.

But this is a case of OKC trying to trade Paul; Miami is not aggressively trying to acquire him. OKC would prefer to find a taker as soon as possible.

Presti, call back when you’re ready to get fleeced

Better yet. Give us our 2 picks, pay for the last year of his contract plus give us one of the picks he got from the Clippers. Then we’ll leave it to Pat Riley

That contract shows you how overrated Morey is.. he is a moneyball GM that has yet to come close to a championship.

Even Butler’s bewcontract is tradeable.

I'm just going to assume we're done for the offseason until the trade deadline honestly... Dragic still needs to be moved. I think we move him for 2nd round picks, we llooovvee 2nd round picks just to get something for him and using them for players we've never heard of!

Lol, I don't doubt his competitive spirit. His injuries just suck. Badly timed too. If we get back 1st round picks, idk if it'd be worth it still... if it meant not having the capspace for someone in 2021. IDK!

Soooo after we cut Maten who do we sign? Need a rugged PF to play alongside either KO or Meyers when Bam sits just in case JJ sucks again. Need someone to push JJ. Anybody think Kenneth Faried would be worth a shot? Faried would bring a ton more over UD. Pressed against the hard cap we need to sign a player that can actually contribute. Can't go wasting the 14th roster spot on UD.

Manimal flashed some signs last year, so not adverse to him. He’d probably pair reasonably well with Leonard off the bench given their skill sets.

Annoyed that Lyles got picked up, as I thought he’d be a solid choice in that backup 4 role.

Lance Thomas could be a solid enough vet to break seal Incase of emergency with.

Agreed.
2021 is our chance to go Whale hunting Heat style. CP3 kills the Whale before we can hunt.
