Welp, it's DRAFT time guys. The 2019 draft is loooong behind us and the 2020 draft is just around the corner haha.

Things could change over the season which could lead to us wanting different players by seasons end.

For some reason our franchise doesn't seem to like the Kobe Bryants or the Killian Hayes of the world, but I think there is
always a chance for luck.

BEST AVAILABLE - Killian Hayes, Tom Digbeu, Josh Green, Malcolm Cazalon, Cole Anthony, LaMelo Ball, Georgios Kalaitzakis

2ND ROUND - C.J. Elleby, Ty-Shon Alexander, Filip Petrusev, A.J. Reeves, John Petty, Quentin Grimes

MY DREAM DRAFT -

PICK 1 - Killian Hayes, Tom Digbeu

PICK 2 - Joshua Obeisie, Arturs Zagars

MY PICKS -

PICK 1 - Killian Hayes

PICK 2 - Justin Turner (This pick was somehow chosen for me because he was the only player I overlooked )

Why is Cole Anthony already almost 20 years old before he's even stepped onto a college court?

Same with guys like Scottie Lewis, Precious Achiuwa (who is actually almost 20 right now) and Matthew Hurt?

Some of them are as old going into their Freshmen seasons as guys like Tre Jones and Tyrese Haliburton are going into their Sophmore seasons.

Way early, but looking at this draft right now, the top 10 looks loaded with talent. It would be a great year to get a top 3 pick and somehow trade for another too 10 pick. Grab one of the big guys and a PG. Here is the list of guards and big guys to watch who look like potential top 10 at this time.

Guards -
Anthony Edwards, RJ Hampton, Cole Anthony, Nico Mannion, Theo Maledon, LaMelo Ball

Bigs -
James Wiseman, Vernon Carey, Isaiah Stewart

Well in the case of Mr Cole Anthony, he is 19 because before you enter such an amazing University like North Carolina at Chapel Hill, you must past the ultimate test of being a quality guy.

In Matthew Hurts Case duh what do you expect hes from dook :P

That mock also has OKC picking in the 20s, they obviously haven't taken the month of July into account yet.

On topic I hope the team ends up with Anthony Edwards. He has the it factor like Cam Newton. And I love that he said the reason he chose to play at Georgia was because Tom Crean coached his two favorite players - Wade and Oladipo. The kid already knows what type of player he is and what he can aspire to become.

I am changing my picks. (I will instead pick justin turner in summer league if he falls there)

These are my picks if fell to us

PICK 1 - Killian Hayes, Tom Digbeu, Josh Green, Malcolm Cazalon,

PICK 2 - Amar Sylla, Jordan Nwora, Filip Petrusev, Ty-Shon Alexander, Arturs Zagars,

Right now the draft I would mainly want is

PICK 1 - Kilian Hayes

PICK 2 - Amar Sylla

Someone mentioned Chris Ledlum so I will keep a lookout for him. I like his game. I think the 3 biggest sleepers in this draft are

Jordan Nwora, Ty-Shon Alexander and C.J. Elleby

What I like about them is that they all play very fundamentally. Like having coaches on the floor.

I am sure I am gonna change my opinion on Amar Sylla as I am not sold on him but for now I would select him as our second rounder. We will see how he does this year. Hes super young, like 17 so we will see. I would LOVE killian Hayes and Tom Digbeu but they are basically the SAME player. I will probably settle in on

PICK 1 - Killian Hayes

PICK 2 - Filip Petrusev

before its all said and done but there is so much time to choose haha

Where prospects are ranked now is almost meaningless compared to what the rankings will look like in May/June of 2020. Will be interesting to see how these names are ranked after the tournament.

Although not as DEEP as last year there is some really good talent available. I just found another suuuuper sleeper. This would be my 2nd rounder if he were there. He could be a star. He won MVP at 17 and lead his team to the title.

Mario Nakic
