I feel like the Miami picks are the best of the bunch. I think we need to rank our picks. Because giving up the 2020 Denver pick is nothing like giving the 2021 Miami pick.
Would you rather give Miami back one of their picks or swap CP3 for Wiggins?
I think the last two Clippers picks are potentially the most valuable even if they're further away. Kawhi and Paul are gonna be in their mid 30s by the time the second one rolls around. It's a tossup between those and the Rockets picks. I think the Rockets picks are more likely to suck and have a high pick, but their protection is a problem.
I'd probably go:
Second tier:
Denver pick
2022 Clippers (They will probably be awesome)
2023 Miami (it's further away and protected)
2021 Miami (They are likely to still have Butler performing well, but if he blows out a knee, it could become super valuable)
First tier:
2026 Houston (protected and far away, but Harden and Westbrook will be ancient)
2026 Clippers (super far away)
2024 Houston
2024 Clippers
This is fluid depending on how things shake out, but it's how I'd rank them today.
