Please don't spend assets on Bailey. This team needs a long term solution for pitching. Bailey ain't that.

Of the 18 Brewer pitchers with at least 10 innings this year, only 5 have an ERA under 4.00 and only 2 have an ERA under 3.00, with Davies rapidly creeping toward that mark. Eight have ERAs over 5.00.

There's no single move that'll fix this pitching staff. They either need to bring back their old pitching coach, or almost completely start over.

I think if we make moves they will likely/should be of the order of just buying guys off. The A's gave up a former 1st round pick that likely is never going to make the majors but is a lotto ticket, I guess.

The A's basically bought Bailey for $250k. He's not a guy that excites me much, but moves like that would be fine by me. If Mark wants to burn $5 million adding some extra MLB talent around the edges it I'm cool with it.

not sure why the D-backs would do this as they are even with the Brewers in the standings.

The Brewers probably have something like a 25% chance of winning the division.

The Diamondbacks have a 0% chance of winning their division.

the Diamondbacks probably have a better chance at getting the Wild Card then the Brewers have to win the Division.

I have no idea, you could be right about the Wild Card thing, as obviously everyone is sour on the current state of the Brewers, but in general I'd never make trades to play solely for the Wild Card in its current format. I don't really agree with it but I can understand playing for a moderate chance to win the division with a fallback of the Wild Card.

Good website for trade values - https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/trade-simulator/

4.04FIP and 3.89 xFIP and on what list is Supak a top prospect? I agree on Turang, but Supak isn't up there yet. Turang is the only one in top 100. Stop acting like there are great prospects.

Smart perspective as one small fish in a big sea chasing the WC for the Rangers, but still, trading Minor somewhat surprises me.

2.73 ERA looks good, but he has a 3.82 FIP and 4.42 xFip - Major Digression

Guys, I have been unplugging a bit from TV and Internet over the summer for time outside...Just looked up Keston's stats and it looks like I missed a lot of good baseball out of the guy. Someone fill me in, how has he looked, any thoughts about his ceiling?

Real deal, future all star. Obviously I’m not saying he’s going to be Trout but Hiura’s swing reminds me of Trout’s. Short, compact, fast, and powerful. He’s smashing the ball right now.
