Watching Benintendi suddenly divert his eyes like that right before the pitch, is a little suspicious, given the Red Sox history of sign stealing.

Gurriel .295/.343/.599 slashline with a .385 wOBA and 143 wRC+ , would put him roughly top 20 in wRC+ of hitters with min 200 PAs.

62 games in and Vlad's bat hasn't quite come around yet. And given his defense and baserunning are super poor, you've got a guy producing -0.2 fWAR.

He's got good hands but he's just not going to get to a lot of balls at his size. He's gotta start losing some weight. This is going to be critical.

Man Vladdy is struggling. Would a stint in AAA help him at all? I also don't like him hitting that high up in the lineup. I'd move him down 5 or 6 spots.

Bichette needs to be up here. He's killing it right now. 2HR game tonight. Kid is serious! He wants to be with the big club.

Do you not see the irony of those two posts back-to-back?

Tbh I'd take Bichette over Vladdy right now. I truly believe he will end up being the better player when its all said and done. Better hitter and better defensively.

That is because you have a tendency to overreact to short-term trends. If Vlad was having a good week and Bichette a slump, that opinion would reverse.

Vlad didn't cease to be the best hitting prospect in a decade over the past few weeks. I like Bo a lot; there is essentially zero argument that he is a better hitting prospect. None at all. Vlad was posting significantly better numbers in the minors at a younger age.

But Schads point, which was spot on, was that the exact same thing that you posted about Bichette was posted about Vlalddy, whom you are now calling for a demotion to AAA. You're like an unemployed Dr; no patience. (Yes, it works better verbally than written due to different spelling, but it's still childishly funny).

Its not an overaction Scad. Give Bichette 60+ games in the majors and then we can come back and have this same debate. I still think he's the better prospect.

Devers is scary, has hit a ball 95 MPH or harder 150+ times this year, assuming his home run and that last hit against Giles were another one. Bellinger is second most with roughly 141.
