I like the large group. This is what Nash did when we first took the helm - had a big camp (40 guys, as a I recall), including guys still in college.
I think a lot of the guys will be there for practice, bonding, etc. rather than to tryout for team. E.g., Nembhard will need to be back on UF campus before the Worlds start, and the low probability of 2019 draftees playing has already been discussed.
I think you are right here. I don;t expect any NBA rookies or college kids on the final roster (including Barrett). They are here as a first stage of securing them for the future and getting them integrated.
I am still skeptical about Dillon Brooks' health here. Not a word out there that he is back on the court or anywhere near full health.
