What it sounds like is a tweet that didnt need to be tweeted in the first place. Certain things dont need to be posted on social media. I thought it was a stupid tweet so ill say its a stupid tweet. U dont need to comment if u dont think it was stupid also.

fair but like you said if you felt it was a stupid tweet you can comment on it. Disregard the tweet for a second I thought the post was stupid in response. And I respect you as a poster so I felt the need to chime in.

and i think every person who quoted me is just as stupid because i said nothing that was outlandish or crazy.

I said.. "and you lost millions in the process. good job" That caused everyone to get in their feelings...Why? Sounds like yall just bored and wanted to bitch at somebody.

i guess that would be in the eye of the beholder now wouldn't it? Seeing how much of a reaction it got doesn't even trigger you in the slightest that you might have been a little over the top?

no one said anything about it being better that you did not post. i thought it would be better that you were done with that line of conversation, which is what i thought you were saying.

see how interpretation works? (i guess "u took my post the wrong way.")

as for the "12 notifications," i can't help but think you wanted to get a rise out of folks with your commentary. either way, you're entitled to your opinions. they're entitled to theirs.

i get involved when it devolves into a religious debate. and in your case, when it devolves into namecalling.

so, yes. please relax. you're putting on quite the show right now.

U obviously do not know me at all as a poster if u really think i post for attention. I dont give a fk what yall think...I post what i think and what i feel. Just dont quote me telling me im wrong for something when i did nothing and you are all overreacting/reaching for something to overreact to. Because me saying "and you lost millions" and "I dont think god /money/dead sister not good to talk about in a tweeet" really got you guys up in arms... then idk what to say..

Telling me that what i posted was dumb @mpharris is not cool. Especially from a mod.
Telling me @JVG "Better when you said you were done" . Is not good. Especially from a mod.

THen i get a fkn warning for this...for debating religion? You guys serious? Fking warning me over this bull ****? Seriously? This whole thing is stupid.

[no one got warnings for debating religion. that was handled in-thread. since you want to put your dirty laundry out there, you got a warning for namecalling. that was clear in the messaging. but, go ahead and be disingenuous about it. -JVG]

Im officially done. Im logging off . No need to quote or respond to me because im not responding anymore.

It is probably an effort to show players this FO will deal with players fairly and it basically cost them one year as it is a team option. So they bit the bullet even though he may never play a game as a Knick.

Is the 2nd year a team option? I haven't seen that yet so i didn't know but was wondering if it was a 2 year deal or a 1 and 1 with the 2nd year being a team or player option. At that price i wouldn't of minded it being a full 2 year deal and i think he's a really nice signing that people are sleeping on. I've been saying that but this now depends on his health.

So about his health, you say he might never play a game as a Knick but i saw that he would miss a month so is there news saying he could miss the season that i haven't seen?

I don't have any basis for assuming he won't play this season. It was merely a point about how if he didn't that the signing was a good will move based on intent prior to the failed medical exam.

As far as a month goes, Plaintain Fascism seems like it can linger longer. It appears the primary cure is rest and with this deep roster I don't think he will be rushed back, but given time to fully heal. My guess only though

I don't know what much about him or his upside, but the condition of PF seems like it can become a chronic issue for some players

I'm still waiting for it to be confirmed that it is plantar facitis because i still haven't seen anything from anyone legit saying that's what the health issue is.

Wow, that's brutal to say. :nonono:

Grow up. I thought it was ironic he is thanking god days after he went from making 10-15 mil a year down to around 4. Then to bring up his deceased sister in the same sentence seemed unnecessary. Stupid tweet and i said nothing that was brutal.

"U lost millions in the process" Thats being brutal? U kidding me? Cuz i find it ironic hes thanking god after losing 10 million dollars within days and including his signing with his deceased sister? Stupid tweet .

Well first of all you obviously just don't get it and the grow up needs to go to you not me but if you don't see it that way then that's on you. Maybe when you grow up you'll be able to see it.

Am I the first new member since November? Hi everyone. I am a quarantined Knick fan out West.
Not much to talk about these days, but I thought to play round here.
Hope you all be healthy.

The Paint is mine

ps - Something tells me the NFL draft will be very highly rated on Thursday.

My tortured history of being a Knicks fan

Post#1215 » by Thepaintismine » Thu Apr 23, 2020 6:48 pm

I'm doing this at the suggestion of HarthorneWingo.

So, my intro;

I was raised a Knicks fan cause my mom and pop grew up in Brooklyn I guess. They didn't watch ball at all, or any sports, but NY back in the 70's was cool for me as a kid out West. Not a big sports fan, so though it hurt a bit to see Ewing lose to the the Bulls but, there was Michael and seeing him play. I thought we could still beat them, we was good. And we got by once at least cause we played the Rockets, right? I forget. Yeah, that one hurt. I love Starks, but I was screaming for him to stop shooting (but really hoping he got hot.) I'll finish later if you have any questions or comments, as I'm pissed off now. And we are all in prison, I mean quarantine. :banghead:

Greetings.

Sad to hear that family ties led to this poor fan choice. I had the misfortune of being of age in NYC during one of the brief periods the Knicks were good. This in turn has led to a lifetime of mostly suffering.

Now, please STFU & GTFO!

Hello everyone! I am a Knicks fan currently living in the south. I became a Knicks after my family took me to my first game (Knicks vs Pacers) in 99 on my sister's birthday. I have been a fan of the team ever since (god was 99 a trap year for new Knicks fans). I am still young and naive, so I hold hope the knicks will one day be good.
