I mean, if you can't commit to the place that you cried and demanded to be, who do you commit to? It's honestly ridiculous at this point.

"I'm only committing if everything is perfect every single year."

After all of the tampering in the league, wouldn't mind watching some teams lose those players.

The NBA is ruthless when it comes to doing the best for their teams, we're starting to see a shift where the players are working the business with the same frame of mind and fans are calling out the players.

Do you prefer players to be like Isaiah Thomas and lose millions after shedding blood sweat and tears for a franchise? These owners don't give a ****.

Once the trade was completed, I saw a few posters who had him on the same level as Nurkic and adams

Can both of you post some proof? Sounds like you are making it up, as AD is leading the 6th place poll in the TOP 25 Players Poll.

Dude, Superkwame leaving the Lakers was doing them a huge favor, they just didn't realize it at the time. He saved Jim/Jeanie and Mitch (those birdbrains) from themselves. I was NOT unhappy that they didn't extend him to megabucks to go along w/ Kobe's last two lavish seasons.

Losing AD would be an entirely different beast. Unlike Superkwame, AD is actually a REAL superstar, see. He's not just a Super Kwame like Howard was. Throw the ball into Superkwame and watch him bumble and fumble and give you flashbacks of the Original Kwame. Muh fuh looked like his doppleganger at times.

I'm not sifting through posts about how since AD "did nothing" with the Pels, he will have the same impact as Kevin Love in Cleveland. Which, okay, I guess I was a bit over the top, but not far off.

Kyrie Irving showed us that committing early to a team doesn't do anybody any good.

I have no problem with players signing shorter-term deals so that they have more power over the franchises. That's all fair, and the franchises know what they're getting. What I DO have a problem with is players bailing out of contracts early. If you sign a 4 year deal, play out those 4 years to the best of your ability. You've signed a contract, you've received your compensation, so play it out. If you value mobility more highly, then sign short deals. Just stick to whatever you've negotiated with the franchise. We're close to the point now where contracts for big-time players are meaningless, and that's not good for the NBA.

Raptors. Tons of it. They can sign Davis and then their current players. They would at least instantly become a threat to compete again. Although i really don;t expect he says he wants to go to LAL then he leaves for Toronto. It would be hilarious though.
