Shooting is still his weakness. And he's not going to get to the point where it's viable weapon for him. He'll try to jack it up but I promise you people will be pulling from his long two bricks.

I assume the goal with this roster is to be top 5 in the league in shots in the paint and try to be top 5 in defense as well, because shooting is going to be a serious problem lol

Right, and he developed a midrange game, something siakam will do. Derozans stroke was also busted from long range while siakam is not

Pascal was 23 for 55 for 42% on off the dribble pull-ups in the mid-range last year in the regular season. Though only 8 for 26 for 31% in the playoffs. Pull-ups from 3 was pretty much non-existent in reg and playoffs. (in comparison, Giannis was 36% on pull-up 2s in the reg. season and 17% in the playoffs - though Giannis does have more success and attempts on pull-up 3's).

I think in the mid-range Pascal will be good. From 3 will be a work in progress.

every player is different. you could very well be right, but siakaam seems like a different cat im sure no one expected him to be an all star last year but here we are.

Wouldn't it make sense that the Raptors should hire Nick Nurse's nephew, David Nurse (shooting coach specialist) to replace Phil Handy to head player development? Phoenix was trying to hire him for this exact role on Monty's staff but didn't end up getting him.

he's been doing it for years now. It wasn't just Rico Hines that helped Pascal. It was also Raptors team that encouraged it and Nurse who was willing to live with mistakes.
