It was going fine until she got very petty with saying the **** about constant comparisons to last year's PG. That's absolute bull **** and something only her and the media are going to want to keep talking about. It's nonsense. Move on. Not very classy stuff there from Jackie. Kemba has nothing to do with last year's team or last year's PG.

Ah I didn't mind it. She just said it's going to be a topic which, hey, it is. And I think he knocked it out of the park, saying that it's ok and he's ready for it. I loved when he said that he made the decision on his own without talking to other players. He's cut from an entirely different cloth than other modern stars. He's on the outside looking in when it comes to the guys that get constant media love, and I think it's really cool that he's just ok with that. And that he's excited that he'll finally get a little more attention here

He oozes with so much humility. He's the anti-Kyrie.

Read on Twitter

He's 5-11 in his career when he scores 40+. He'll have help in Boston. He might not even need to score 40.

We need him to drop 40 and we get the win, in all our games against the Nets.

After Kemba makes his first 3 in Boston green, do you think he'll do a tribute shimmy? :)

He goes to great lengths in this to say how much he likes Jayson and Jaylen as people (went to Africa with JB two summers ago and France with JT a couple weeks ago).

He’s got it easy man — just don’t be like Kyrie and you’re golden.

I said several times last year that my favorite non-Celtics were Kemba and Jokic. Really happy to have this dude on our team.

Is this a tribute to the great Antoine Walker?

Kemba said there weren't many numbers available and 8 is his birthday.

i hope kemba does well there. He's in a really tough spot though. The celtics lost a lot this offseason and i feel like any slippage will be attributed to the "drop-off" from Kyrie to Kemba even though there's really not one.. its all the other guys boston lost like Big Al's Seafood, Rosey Cakes, and Bingo Bongo Bayngo

No worries. The C's seriously underperformed last season. They're bound to be better than that this year with returning guys improving and the new additions. (Especially once Danny is done remaking the frontcourt.)

And after four years of egomaniacs at the PG spot (yes, IT too), it'll be a soothing relief to have someone as normal, decent and mature as Kemba in that role.

if we drop off (which i actually think is likely) then i will blame the loss of horford.

but really, i just want to see the C's play together and play good basketball.
