He can't stay off the sauce.
Also, something that might surprise people. I think when it comes to athleticism, agility, physical attributes and skill I rate LeBron only in the top 50.

I remember back when lockout happened, he signed with my Euroleague team Zalgiris, it was big signing, he was a star, but he was very underwhelming, he was poor mans Bo McCalebb basically. He was never that great ever since, for a guy who is undersized point guard, you need to play extra well to make at this level, and it doesnt seem like he is able to do that. I heard he had alcoholism problem, which is never good. I dont expect to see him in the NBA again.

He’s long gone. Honestly, Monta Ellis has a better shot

I don't think so.

He is undersized (ergo a probable defensive liability), hasn't played at a high level in some time and his athleticism is expected to decrease (in combination with his size that is hugely concerning) due to his age.
His off-court struggles makes him probably not that appealing to front offices, so his potential as a veteran leader/lockerrom presence is kind of nullified.

Struggles with alcoholism. I hope he has found peace.

His last year for Sac he played pretty well. He came in as a change of pace and I was convinced he would get another bench role after that year.

Alcoholism is no joke.

He's a 31 year old 5'11 PG who depended on speed to perform at a high level.

He was playing quite decently until the multiple DUI and alcohol problems.

It sucks, hope he can get over this problem and get his life together

He had the greatest in-game dunk I ever witnessed personally. Obviously, I haven't attended too many games, but enough that this is notable. It was a blowout with the Nuggets leading and he was kind of dribbling out their possession when a lane opened up and he just exploded to the rim and threw it down. There wasn't anything special about the dunk itself, but there were several 7 footers down there that went flying in every direction.

I'm almost positive that this was in a playoff game because I'm sure it happened in the closing moments of a blowout, but part of what made it memorable was that the crowd was still there and the response was huge. I can't find a gamelog with him dunking in the closing moment of a big home playoff win though.

This was driving me nuts because I can remember where I was sitting in the arena and the roof nearly blowing off the place. It's crazy how memory works. This was 10 years ago and it was actually just the 10th game of the season for the Nugs, but they were playing the Lakers who were the defending champs so I guess that's why people were sticking around for this:

1:34.0 79-104 +2 T. Lawson makes 2-pt dunk at rim

I found a video and man this looks lame compared to what I recall. The crowd and bench do seem excited though.

Lawson is done and has been for several years. He had a great season than everything went down for him. Too many off the court issues. He’s a headcase.

I met him at a local Toronto hookah lounge when the Wizards had a playoff series with the Raptors last year. Seemed like a great dude, very down to earth. I didn’t want to bother him so I kept the convo short, but he prolonged it! All these headcase comments don’t make sense, I wish Ty nothing but the best, he played well in Toronto when with the Wizards.
