Signing Smith IMO would be a mistake. Not sure on chemistry or anything like that, but we don't need a chucker.

As long as there's a mutual understanding on what his role would be, he's a better option than Korver. If he ends up **** up the locker room you just cut him.

Last season was the first in the last 7 years that J.R. didn't shoot at least 35% from three. Hopefully the change of scenery bumps him back up around that number. Obviously you're a little worried about his IQ on the court but what are the odds he's playing in late game situations very often on this team?

Well you could probably say his time in NY was in that way as far as bad attitude. Always seemed like a well liked guy though. And as soon as he got to Cle he was pretty much fine and more focused than he'd ever been, even trying hard and becoming a good defender. Still, he essentially didn't play last year so who knows what you'd be getting. One would actually think you'd get his best effort and behavior since he'd be on a 1 year min show me contract. If he doesn't do well, he's outta the league forever. Does well, he might make another chunk of money. I'd guess he hasn't been the most frugal in saving his money so could probably use one more pay day.

Yeah, I don't recall ever hearing that he was a bad teammate or anything. Just obviously a bit of an airhead sometimes on the court.

If you don't have to rely on him, it's fine. If he is a main contributor, I'd be worried. I'm cautiously optimistic he'd be depth.
