The Orlando fans are sounding like us re:Fultz.

They shouldn't. They gave up practically nothing to get him.

For us Fultz was a high lottery pick plus a low one, for the Magic he is more like a lottery ticket. Long odds for that big payoff at this point, but you never know.

Read on Twitter

It's so enjoyable to not see "Philadelphia 76ers" in this tweet.

Hopefully, they didn’t buy a Fultz jersey like me. Mine is gathering dust. In my wardrobe I also have Redick and Butler.

There are so many "Sixers" Threads on the General Board, especially about Ben and to a lesser extent about Joel.

I taste fear! The fearful are just to weak to acknowledge that we are a true contender now.

An argument can be made that we're a fake contender like Milwaukee was last year.

Loaded rosters with an MVP candidate, sure. But said MVP caliber players (Giannis and Joel) cannot close games.

If you don't have a superstar on the ball that can score from multiple levels, you ain't winning a championship.

And your screen name is LordCovington......I'm beginning to see a pattern here.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

And we are also capped out while teams like Clippers and Bucks have enough contracts to go after some quality players like Lowry or Paul at the deadline.

We need big improvement from Joel and Ben. Without that we are pretenders.

If the consequence of not having moveable contracts is we can't trade for Paul or Lowry, I'll sleep just fine at night.

I'm not saying we need them. Just saying that we can improve only internally, while our main rivals can adress their weaknesses during the season. Lowry would be pretty much ideal PG for Clippers who luck playmaking right now. And I believe that Bucks would be a lot better if they traded Bledsoe + fillers for Paul.

Josh Richardson is an insanely movable contract.

Bledsoe makes $23 million less than Paul. Wouldn’t just handwave the “fillers” part.

Yeah, when you're talking about a guy like Paul, there's no real contender that's got $40 million in useless salary lying around.

That said Cool, I do agree with your larger point that not having any real deadweight salary to move for matching purposes is an issue and certainly something I've been harping on. But I also don't think we're going to be in the market for a $20+ million bench player. The bigger problem is we're going to have a heck of time even being able to match for like a $10 million dollar player.

Yeah, but we can't afford to trade him for more pricy longterm contract and can't improve straight up trading him for similar salary. Pretty much immovable for us.

Yeah, I missed the fact that they stretched Leuer. Him + Bledsoe and Ilyasova would be 32 mln combined.

Mike Scott would have to go in any deal as he has the only contract of any size ($4.7M) aside from our starting 5. But he is probably penciled in as our 6th man.

Hopefully Smith or Thybulle can seize the 6th man role and make Scott expendible.

LOL. The Bucks just let Brogdon go to avoid future luxury tax, because they are already paying in Middleton and Giannis, but now they're going to trade for Chris Paul. Unbelievable

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

We need Biid to atleast shoot 3s at league average % (he shot at around 30-31% last season) and for Tobi to score like his days with the Clippers.

If that happens, then you have two 3 level scorers.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
