Can he come here and immediately be extended and or can Washington extend him and flip him to us or what’s the waiting period?

More comprehensive and accurate answer to your question, including potential payouts depending on scenario:

They're not infallible, but Nahmad, Eric Pincus, and Jeff Siegel are pretty good with this salary/CBA stuff.

Damn dude thanks. Good stuff. So anything over 1 year can’t be traded for 6months. Also he’s in year 7 I believe so the 10 year thing would be after this extension?

So no extension if he’s traded this summer

538 also had us as a 35 win team the moment Gordon Hayward went down. I don't put too much stock into their predictions.

Waters, Strus, Green, and Fall are battling it out for three slots (one full roster spot and 2 two-ways). That leaves one of them out in the end.

A (very) small, a (very) big and a wing. Beautiful.

It appears that win total assumes Oladipo, their best player, is out for the year. It's 44 wins with Dipo, if I understand it correctly.

Does anyone know what Nick Wright's (and to a lesser extent Cris Carter's) problem is with the Celtics? Lol like this guy absolutely hates this franchise like Danny Ainge killed his dog.

They go back and forth with each other yelling about how you need superstars to win titles...well guys, they don't grow on trees. We can't go get some at the superstar store.

Do yourself a favor and stop listening to Nick Wright or any platform he's on. He's not even entertaining and has a very punchable face.

It's not just the Celtics. They both know absolutely nothing about basketball. I'm baffled how Wright even has a job.

Because he gets clicks by annoying people.

Good news is Kanter constantly roasts him so Enes has got our back

It's just so weird to me. Like their tone about the Kemba and Kanter press conference today was one of idk, exasperation? Like they just can't understand what Danny's doing.

The Celtics are not currently title contenders, we know this even as fans of the team. So I'm fine if they want to just talk about dismissing Boston based on that. But they speak about the team as if this exact roster was Ainge's ultimate goal. Kyrie and Horford walked. AD was literally telling anyone who would listen that he wouldn't consider playing here long term. This wasn't how anyone wanted things to go down lol

COuld this be part of their carrot and stick posturing to try to get Fall sewn up? "Tacko can sign for a guaranteed two years now--or take his chances competing in camp." Similarly, the C's really want to commit to his development in a serious way, but perhaps they need a longer-term option to take that approach? Wink-wink.

I think 6-8 seed is about right for them, best case. They lost a lot of scoring between Dipo, Bojan, even Thad Young. Brogdon, Lamb & Warren don't make up for all of that. And it's not like they were an offensive juggernaut beforehand. If Dipo is out longer than expected and/or doesn't come back at full strength, they could be in for a rough year compared to last season.

Of course nobody would do that. That was a joke. I’m sure the players respect each other, and most of them are buddies off court these days. I expect kyrie to bring it if he plays us. Same goes for our guys. The fans won’t be forgiving though.

Well, Fan is short for Fanatic, so... :) ...us taking things about our team over the top is sort of to be expected.

Speak for yourself. For me fan obviously means fantastic.

I think the pacers are super overrated. Oladipo is out at least half the year and I doubt he’s anywhere close to normal. They were below .500 without him, IIRC.

Bojan killed it for them last year and Thad Young was a massive loss too. I think theyre in serious trouble.
