JR Smith hasn't been good since 2015-2016. So . . . I hope it's not a guaranteed contract.

I would love JR and Korver to come aboard...whole team is back except BrogDog. Was not ideal to lose him but the team didn’t miss much of a beat with him out. These vet additions (Mathews, RoLo, possibly JR and Korver) can only help us next year too. No reason we don’t flirt with 60 wins again assuming we remain healthy.

People are acting like 700k isn't a lot of money, especially to two guys in Hill and Lopez who are notoriously frugal. Or that honoring an original contract isn't important to a lot of professionals. Or as PP said, getting those two signed asap was important so that other angles could be worked and their statuses weren't left open for others to o negotiate.

Kinda like the Cam Reynolds addition. Agree with their using the spot on someone who’s shown enough in their first professional season to have earned a couple months call-up to the league rather than on a complete wildcard unproven rookie. Wonder if the failed Trevon Duval experiment has scared them off those types of dudes.

Would also prefer to keep Bonzi on the other 2-way over any of the summer league guys.

Would have been hilarious to see Brogdon and JR Smith on the same team, from a basketall IQ standpoint....lol.

Does JR follow Invisible Snell?...

Off-season of reunions they're concocting. Korver & Bud. Smith, Hill & Korver. Brook & Robin. Robin & Wes. Giannis & Thanasis.

So.. this is beyond any sort of coincidence that Giannis is working out with a free agent that we have been linked to and who also happens to be a former player of Bud's, right? Seems like no other NBA players were in the gym with them or that twitter coach would have posted pictures with them as well (or at least mentioned them).

Either one of those lineups is better then the lineup that won 2 playoff series last year

Are we certain he doesn't always travel with luggage & a babe? Maybe further travels lie ahead.

Thing is he doesn't use shirts. Is all that luggage just for shorts?

Cameron Reynolds, meh, looks like the g league salary structure needs looked at if these are the only type of players that will sign a two way

Its just... pick your battles. Akin to complaining about cutting Nate Wolters to sign Kenyon Martin. If it doesn't work out get rid of him.

Its interesting to see so many players with potential of playing time. If we sign Korver and Smith. It'll be an interesting battle for playing time. And alot of Veteran players.
