don't need to replace Mook's role. more minutes/responsibility/opportunity to make plays for Tatum/Brown/Hayward. Then you have Semi/Grant/Langford competition for time.

Who should be the up to 3 Camp Invites?

I like Javonte Green and Chinanu Onuaku.
But from what I understand, the Greensboro Swarm may still hold Onuaku's G-League Rights.

Rem:
Those players Waived from Celtics Training Camp, can become Affiliates up with the Maine Red Claws.

P.S.:
We can carry up to 6 x Exhibit 10's at a time.

Celtics may actually wait a bit, before signing some players.
All the Ducks have to be done in a row.

Carsen Edwards will 100% be in the rotation. absolutely zero doubt about it. Smart/Edwards will both play coming off the bench and be important pieces.

yup, smart likes coming off the bench, and Edwards is the perfect guy to pair with him. Rozier wasn't a good enough shooter.

Kemba/JB/Hayward/Tatum/Kanter
then
Kemba/Smart/Hayward/Tatum/Kanter
then
Edwards/Smart/Tatum/Williams/Williams
then
Edwards/Smart/JB/Williams/Williams
then back to starters. Guys like Semi/Theis/Poirer will play the 9-10 men in rotations depending on who we are playing and what they are doing. Need more size? Poirer. need to stretch the floor? Theis. Need someone to guard Gainnis? Semi..

I'm talking about the guy who stretches the floor and bodies up opposing PFs. His shots absolutely don't need to be replaced, but that skill package does.

Theis is too underskilled. Hayward and Tatum too light. It's basically Grant or bust.

And Grant is kinda inexperienced, and a bit short for the PF position.

And Theis is a perfectly reasonable 4, perhaps more so than a 5.

Can they just put a chair out there on defense?

I think that's more the role Theis can and will fill this year, with Grant in there too.

Javonte signing is a good move. Despite the media circus around Tacko, Green was most often one of our top 3 players. I was impressed with him in SL although at 26 he should look good there. He looks like a guy a lot of other teams with less depth at wing would want. With our depth at wing he may not have a place but I like him as addition to training camp.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Tacko can literally be unstoppable both defensively and offensively, winning games by himself. Another guard, meh.

Tacko is a smart guy, not really that experienced in BBall but with a physical specimen that can make the difference. Once he is trained very few people will score in the painted area. Augurably the most agile 7’6” guy I’ve seen on a B-ball court.

Not sure what you smoking, but Tacko can easily average 3blk per game, and on offense players can lob passes for layups to him all day. That is a given.

All the other stuff like defensive switching, .. can be taught over time.

The last guy to average 3blks per game was Hassan Whiteside in 2015-2016 and only he and Serge Ibaka have done it in the last decade, but Tacko Fall, who still has yet to even make the NBA by the way, is going to do it easily?

And I'm the one smoking something? Okie...

Switching can’t be taught when you are as big and slow as Tacko.
