Dumping Sterling Brown for the sake of JR Smith and/or Kyle Korver would be an absolute mistake.

There's no one better than JR Smith out there? Maybe it's time we bring Ovinton J'Anthony Mayo back.

Its the regular season not the playoffs, we can still win 60 games with DDV learning the ropes as a starter, but IN the playoffs I dont think that we are a contender with Wes or JR as our starting SG. DDV or somebody HAS TO STEP UP.

come again?

the Bucks won the first two rounds of playoff games...and the first two games against the raps...without Brogdon.

i'm very much confused by your take.

we had Mirotic

who was unplayable vs. the Raptors...and who also didn't have a very good postseason run as a whole

Having said that, fast forward to the year 2031. You pick up your tablet device, and see that Giannis just released an autobiography. You are intrigued, so you start reading. Around page 200 (not sure if we will still use the word "page') you notice there are a few paragraphs about JR Smith. Honest question... what is the likelihood that future impression/experience will be positive? 5%? 8%? What is the likelihood that it will be some incident of him holding up the team plane because he tried to sneak weed through customs? Or went on a February east coast trip without packing a shirt? Or costing us a playoff game with a really awful last second lack of game awareness? 85%? 90%? I feel the chances of JR Smith making legit contributions much much less likely than continuing to add to his lore as a really weird and dense guy.

Gotta have that playoff experience of bonering away a Finals game at age 32 in your 127th playoff game.

Eh, Wes was better at 3s on the same volume. But more importantly I think it's tough to hold that Boston series against him considering Indiana's team situation.

I doubt Wes' 3pt% would be under 20% for an entire ECF and sub-30% for an entire playoffs.

EDIT: Looking at some of his past PO percentages though, they're more mediocre than I was hoping for :-?

I like the Briante Weber idea but would he sign for the min and very few minutes? Seems like he's making a pretty good career for himself with Olympiacos and Coach Blatt.

Absolutely believe he would. Blatt and Olyampiacos actually sent Weber packing after just two months last season. He’d been playing really well, something weird must’ve gone down behind the scenes.

JR Smith is a better bench player than Thon.
I admit to being a terrible judge of talent and having minimal knowledge of the game of basketball.

True and its certainly not apples/apples but I dont think that a bigger slice is going to make it more appetizing really. I think DDV steps up or we get lucky at the deadline or we arent contenders. Just my opinion of course

So they both sucked in last year's playoffs. That's why your best players are the ones you rely on to win you championships (see: Kawhi), not your role-players (see: Danny Green).

The player misses the States, Olympiacos is not satisfied by his behavior during those two months and both sides seem to have agreed on a “mutual divorce” which is expected to be officialized soon.

"Not satisfied with his behavior" is quite the blurry statement.

I don't really mind JR now that both my guys Diallo and Bender signed somewhere else. Bender was more about potential but Diallo would have been really good on this roster.
