Nets Magazine: Free Agency Special airing tonight

Post#1 » by Paradise » Thu Jul 18, 2019 4:47 pm

YES Network will be airing a free agency special hosted by Sarah and Grady at 11:00pm.

This is probably the closest to a press conference we will ever get.

LeBron signed with the Lakers last summer and held no press conference. I think that’s what’s happening here due to the kind of questions the media would try to ask. He didn’t want to be asked about that crap season in Cleveland before he left after being blown out in the Finals.

Them speaking in September after spending time with teammates, adjusting to NY, KD’s rehab continuing to progress, etc will be less of a circus during Media Day than in July.

You’ve got people already talking about KD is insecure and a snake by not taking a meeting before signing here or saying him signing without telling Marks and the FO is similar to what happened with him leaving for Golden State. These guys don’t want the Boston and GS questions.

Atleast, we get this.

Keep these two as far away from the press as feasibly possible. We don't want someone to slip up and then all of a sudden Golden State and Boston file tampering charges with the league offices.

yeah... good points.

I'll tune into this for sure. Sounds like we'll get a few things maybe we didn't know.

Ah, I remember those days. Had a Switch at launch and of course I got Breath Of The Wild too. Didn't stop playing for a month. The portability is the best/worst thing that happened to me.

Hah, yeah I've done that. At least you're not taking Ubers to the airport so you could play instead of drive.

Finally watched it. Mostly reactions from Kenny and Sean, nothing from the new players. Few summer league interviews from incumbent guys. And then you got Grady and Kustok pumping the season up. It was a nice appetizer.
