Looks like the Bucks will have a lot of guys playing 15-minutes a game.

If all Korver does is improve Giannis ft% 10 pts then he is worth every penny.

A couple guys will get injured. This does rule out JR Smith though I’d think.

Now I want to hear what happened in that training session

Don't expect him to be very useful in the postseason but solid pickup nonetheless.

Re: Woj: Bucks Sign Kyle Korver
The addition of Korver could mean the Bucks let J.R. Smith pursue other opportunities.
I think the Bucks are very focused on making an impactful move at the trade deadline. Trade deadline flexibility is probably more important than short term gratification. Not only might they find a new crop of players available (last year that list included Marc Gasol, Nikola Mirotic, Tobias Harris, and Mike Conley), but they would have a better idea of a specific need as the season unfolds.

Hopefully he will be what Mirza and Mirotic were supposed to be. Nice to have a 3 point assassin. Should help when Giannis has 3 people guarding him.

Re: Woj: Bucks Sign Kyle Korver
Who else remembers Dell Curry at the tail end of his career in Milwaukee drilling quick 3's in a matter of mins off the bench?
Could see Korver playing a significant role in small spurts making teams pay for packing the lane on Giannis. Even if he's not shooting there is the threat he could shoot whenever he is on the court.
And there probably isn't a better team in the league better equipped to hide him defensively.

For me the biggest win is beating out the Sixers on the guy they wanted. Korver would’ve been looking at more guaranteed minutes in Philly too. He’d clearly prefer a ring.

three of the four years Korver played with Bud he shot over 45% from three.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I literally can't think of a best offensive fit for Giannis
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Finally i can say korver is on our roster. Good move considering we are going to continue playing this way with giannis and our system needed a sniper. If you can hide him in defense, oh my....

Re: Woj: Bucks Sign Kyle Korver
I think when he left Milwaukee without signing it was ruled out. Im assuming JR and his agent figured they could get a multi year deal worth over the mininum from another contender looking for a shooter. Insert Philly now that Korver signed.paulpressey25 wrote:old skool wrote:Looks like the Bucks will have a lot of guys playing 15-minutes a game.

Good pickup. Love keeping him away from Philly as well.

Not sure how much he has in tank but he's a nice shooting coach at least.

One of these years, Korver will hit the same wall Steve Novak hit where he can still shoot lights out but his defense is so dreadful that he's unplayable. Maybe that's this season but there's minimal downside with this contract.

Re: Woj: Bucks Sign Kyle Korver
Hoping that Korver's dreaminess is not a distraction. Imperative upon Bud to rein it in imo.
