Dude was the oldest player to score 50 points in a single game. Passed MJ.
Also has the most points ever from a guy off the bench in a single game.
And the only player in NBA history to score at least 50 points from 4 different NBA teams.

If this dude had actually been on great teams at the peak of his career, he would have been an even better and bigger player.

Also, is any NBA team going to sign him this year? Or is he retiring. I still think he has a lot left in the tank.

Well he panned out a lot better than Chris Mihm.

I remember when it came out a few years ago that he admitted never working on his game in the offseason.

Imagine if he did. He had all the talent in the world. Could shoot, had elite handles, was quick and a decent athlete. No reason he couldn't be a decently efficient 25 per game scorer if he actually tried.

His PER has stayed around 15-18 since his second season. He's pretty much been the same player for his entire career, just in different situations.

Gave up more points then he could score. Don't know how long for but he looked like a negative playing for us

However to still be able to score like he did at that age is impressive.

Can’t stand people like you. Your only response is analytics. Probably can’t even shoot a free throw. If your only come back is analytics then u shouldnt speak. Any body can google search some stats.

Yeah, and I bet you played in the NBA.

How about you actually argue why Jamal Crawford is good? Also, you're literally making yourself look like a dumb jock if you did not notice.

This is such a garbage response. Jamal Crawford sure is bringing out the anti analytics crowd today. You just don’t like it because the numbers don’t fit your agenda.

Throw out analytics and numbers. Jamal Crawford doesn’t even pass the eye test. I’ve watched him over his entire career and he’s never been anything more than an inefficient volume scorer with bad basketball IQ. Watching him on those Clippers teams was cringeworthy.

Didn’t he admit a couple years ago that he’s never worked on improving his game in any summer of his career? Eh was never a fan.

Never said he was great. I just hate people who come in just to post some "Advanced metrics" And then contribute no other input or opinion besides their advanced stats.

Crawford is a player who can score 1 on 1 against anybody. He is a bench player who can bring a spark and instant offense when he comes into the game. Has elite ball handling ability still at his age and being able to handle the ball and break the Defense down is a skill that metrics dont measure.

The fact that he is 39 and still contributing in the league, says more then some advance stats do. There is a reason why he still has a job. Hes not a starter...Hes a liability on defense... Can be streaky... But when hes on, hes instant offense and can carry the offense.

Hes' one of the most inefficient chuckers the league has ever seen. On top of that, can't defend anybody if his life depended on it. Yeah, he does tend to make a lot of tough shots...but those are still bad shots. I would not want this guy anywhere near my team if you have any type of playoff aspirations. Maybe if he came in for 15 mins a game against 2nd stringers only...other than that, he's good for exhibition only.

CP3 and Griffin deferred to this guy in the playoffs and it cost them time and again. If you need to rely on this guy at the end of tight games, you're in trouble. It's a good thing he's pushing 40. Save the rest of the league from suffering.

I’d say he’s been overrated, but okay.

OP says he is underrated

If people are calling him awful, then he is underrated. He not great, but he's not awful, he is a useful player in the right role.

He's not "great" though, but he's done a good job extending his career and being effective in his role as he got older.

Jcraw was the man. I agree he has been underrated. He could fall out of bed and score 30. Lou Williams is very good but based on everything (scoring, handle, speed, athelticism) I would rather have Jcraw in his prime than Lou in his prime. Not to say Jcraw will not throw in some real clunkers as well occasionally.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Scoop Robinson says Sixers, Thunder, Nets, Lakers, Heat have interest. Old guys signs at the very end of free agency, like VC or Mark Gassol

He has had no business being in the league the last four seasons. He's been a complete negative. He basically has a good game for every 5-7 awful ones. In his prime? A good game for every 2-3 awful ones.

I think that he is good enough to play another season in the NBA for sure. He will get a guaranteed contract.

7 points at 39% FG at 39 years old.

Unless he and Frank Kaminsky are dating he's got nothing in the tank.
