Now it’s more like
I don’t get it
Everyone has become “woke” as the kids say. Guys used to just trade for their favorite players. In 2019, everyone is honestly trying to be a “real GM”. This game has come a long LONG way. Not as “crazy” but more strategic than ever
That’s true... but I meant more like activity in regards to people actually playing... like a lot of people have to gm more than 1 team or people dropping out/going MIA, etc. These used to be packed with 30 dudes who were always real into it.
When I started it was pretty hectic, honestly the difference between the first and second one was glaring as hell.
The first one had like 20 trades in first two days, second one hadn’t hit 10 till a week in...
And basically no one was untouchable every stuperstar and even Star was traded by two weeks in (bar wall, who I had wanted to build around)
Which I think may be a reason it ain’t as crazy anymore, a lot of teams value certain players and have them as untouchable.
It’s why I always like to say ‘it’ll be a overpay’ not that they are untouchable now, caus I have found it helps the game move along.
But then a lot of the drivers of that game, like Dan Verze VCfor3 and that didnt come round in the second or werent As active.
Only guys who I have seen consistently in all my games (which have been reasonably sporadic depending on real life circumstances), DN, Ness, Scott and MoneyTalks, who always seem to keep the game ticking and explosive, especially Ness.
After your first, you change, you mature, you dont just jump into things.
After getting dunked on for the first time, life becomes complex.
