Let me start by saying again that I’m a Craig counsel fan. However... watching him continue to trot out Saladino when you have three superior options in Arcia, Hernan Perez, and Dubon is really grinding my gears. Last night, bases loaded, one out in the fourth. Saladino with a horrible AB and K. Then allowing Gio to hit for himself, K, and predictably only send him out to pitch one more inning was about as bad as you can possibly manage. Luckily counsel got away with it due to the bats coming alive late. But what terrible situational baseball.

Brewers should trade for Grienke before the deadline, we need to get an Ace to strength our rotation.
I have doubts they are even considering that.
2 years left on his contract after this at 35 million per. That is alot of money and probably limits who else they trade for at the deadline and in free agency next year.
Our payroll would go from 127million to 162 million.
To add to this, we dont need 1 SP. I would rather Stearns find multiple players than just Greinke.

I'm in sell mode so it's not like I would do this anyway, but if the Brewers traded for Geinke it would be because Arizona is eating most of his salary.

What a lineup. Why not bat Woodruff higher in the order?

And there’s no advance planning from Counsell so he doesn’t have to sit Yelich, Braun, and Grandal all on the same day?

Sounds like Braun has a back issue, have to imagine they planned on him being in there otherwise against a LHP.

Yea, if he's out extended time then it's just another reason to punt.

He's already my third favorite Brewer EVER to watch take AB's. Yelich, prime Braun, Hiura. (I was too young to appreciate Yount and Molitor)

That triple yesterday was unbelievable. The pitch was well off the outside corner. Hiura was not only able to make contact, but he absolutely smoked it. His ability to crush the ball exactly where its pitched is a thing of beauty.

Hiura's defense has been pretty bad. Obviously they'll work with him extensively on it in spring training. Ultimately maybe he moves to the outfield.

But the guy is one of the purest hitters I've seen.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not to steal the thunder of this, because Hiura is good and I echo all of this...but the juiced ball is also something on hits like that.
