AD has probably been my favorite non-Laker since he came into the league. I still vividly remember him dominating at Kentucky and thinking, "that dude is going to be an unholy terror when he comes into the league". I'm giddy over the fact that he's a Laker, and I truly believe he's ready to establish himself as the best player in the game.

Surely I'm bias but we look pretty unstoppable. Unless Lebron has a massssssive fall off, Which I dont see. Thats why you put the load on AD during the regular season and ride LB in the playoffs.

Bron's going to throw so many lobs to AD. I wouldn't be surprised to see AD average something like 30/13 and win the MVP. I can't wait for this year.

They left out the Slasher and the other dominant big. So I guess it’s The Creator, The Shooter, The Slasher & The Twin Towers.

If Cousins is healthier than last year and if Kuz breaks out like some of us expect, we might just have ourselves a Big Five.

Well that's great and all for us but i wouldn't call Danny green a part of a "Big .."
He was only a role player in the last two championships.

I'm hoping it goes pear shaped in Washington or Portland.

I still want that big 3

Even Shaq and Kobe needed those key role players, I mean where would they be if Horry and Fisher didn't hit those critical shots, how about Rick Fox's defense? Danny Green is the shooter who plays very good defense so it's kinda a combo of Fish's shots and Fox's defense.
Most of us were underwhelmed bec Green got in a "cold spell" in the finals and yet he still ranked 3rd best in the team in 3pt shooting % not counting McCaw who played 12 mins and took 1 shot.
No he's not a superstar but he will have a huge part bec of his shooting and defense a great combo of attributes that most current players don't have. Daniels and Cook can shoot but can't defend. Bradley can defend but has been inconsistent with his shot, same could be said about Kuzma about shooting.
I agree with Kellerman, if only the Lakers could have gotten Beverley, Lakers would have been the favorites bec they would add that Pittbull to team up with the Creator, Great Big and the Shooter.

Would you rather have CP3 or Westbrook than Danny Green, Bradley and Kuzma?

Salary doesn't match, it'd have to be Green, KCP, Bradley, McGee.

For Beal it could be Green+KCP and as many picks as it takes.

Or if KCP invokes a no-trade clause then you ship Green+McGee+Cook and picks.

The latter. You couldn't pay me enough to force me to trade for CP3 or Westbrook

Of course I mentioned Portland and Washington because I want Lillard/McCollum and Beal. I look at this squad, and the only piece I feel we need is a cold blooded off the dribble sniper that you cannot go under a screen for.

So whatever it takes to get it done if those guys were ever placed on the market.

Would give everyone and picks and Kuzma as well.

I get what you're saying especially considering the Kawhi thing... But that said, Green is actually pretty lethal if left open. Kuzma could be too...

The thing I keep coming back to, isn't so much the talent level, as it is the fit of our talent... LeBron and AD are basically made for each other. I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to imagine a more complementary pairing... This is Shaq-Kobe levels of compounded greatness...
And when you have a big 2 that are that great a fit, having a 3rd star isn't as necessary... But that said, Danny Green is pretty damned close to perfect too...
And then we have Cousins... Who AD loves and seems to be a great fit next to him... If healthy, he's still a top-5 C in the league if AD is a PF...

Personally, I just want to see what happens when these guys hit the floor... I'll be really surprised if we aren't dominating pretty much everyone right out the gate... And if we aren't I'd be willing to bet it's a coaching issue rather than a talent issue...

Sure, I'd love to land Lillard, McCollum or Beal, but I'm not sure how bad we'll need it.

The best part about this team, may actually be how deadly our bench is if lead by Kuz... Caruso/KCP/Kuz/Dudly/McGee should be one of the toughest second units in the league... And Depth wins championships as much as anything...

It's going to be a fun season.
