but yes, averaging that in the East and playing for the Knicks would for sure put him in the all-star game.

You think he’s getting voted in?

yes, the East sucks.

which forwards are getting in after Giannis?
Off top, I’d expect all these guys would finish ahead: Blake griffin, J Butler, maybe a couple Sixers (Simmons, Harris, Horford), Tatum, Middleton

isn't Butler playing SG for Miami? And Blake/Tatum yes, but I can easily see him over Middleton.

he has an easy path to the all-star game.

The Knicks have 4 power forwards, one of which played all last season as a center. Exactly how many players out of 15 do you think should be power forwards?

Or did you just latch on to the stupid narrative and not bother to think for yourself?
I'm sure I know which one it was.

playing on a losing team, i don't see his empty stats as enough to warrant an all star appearance, let alone receive one.

I doubt it. Is he gonna beat Giannis, Siakam, Tobias, Gordon, Blake, Collins, Markkanen and Love?

Randle might just be relegated to being the best guy on terrible teams - sorta like the tallest midget for his career.

Knicks won’t be good enough to warrant that. Even as it stands, Siakam/Griffin/Simmons/Middleton/Tobias/Horford are all better, and Collins probably will be too. Maybe Tatum.

Also Gordon and Love but Love’s team won’t be good enough either.

Barring injuries, it's not very likely he'll make it.

Starters are locked with Embiid and Antentokounmpo, and he'll have to beat out Griffin, Siakam, Vučević, Horford and Gasol to get there.

It's the East. The same conference that made D-Lo, Vucevic, and Middleton into "All-Stars" last season.

So there's no reason Julius Randle can't be an "All-Star" too. Just don't forget to use quotation marks.

I have a world of respect and admiration for Julius Randle’s work ethic and skills. While I feel strongly that he is more than capable of making the All Star game -in the anemic Eastern Conference; an area of concerns is playing time given the abundance of forwards on the roster.

I suspect the Knicks will distribute minutes evenly amongst their pack of forwards, which will come at a cost of individual success. While Randle may be the best product on the floor, it is without question that they stacked with the goal of shipping 1 or more of forwards in the trade market. History leads me to believe that around the All Star game we will see some movement as teams come to terms with their current lineup and where an asset or two may need to be acquired. The timing of the trade seemingly will adversely impact Julius’ chances at an All Star casting.

I foresee Julius’ chances of making the All Star cut will be far improved with the 2020/2021 season.

If they like a player.".his team sucks he needs better players, more help around him."

IF they dislike a player.."chucker, king of empty stats."

Randle is very underrated here. Yes he has a very good chance of making all star team.

My early prediction for East All-Stars.

Embiid/Vucevic
Giannis/Griffin
Siakam/Middleton
Walker/Butler
Irving/Simmons/Lowry

The last spot is up for grabs and who knows about injury replacements. I imagine a Pacer would get in there because I think there record will be good enough, but Randle, Young, Love, Tatum, Hayward, Lavine are all good candidates.
Go Knicks!

Randle will get in and The Lakers will get clowned again for letting another all star walk.

He turning 24, let's see if he keeps getting better still? The EC is still weak, so who knows. I think he be on the outside looking in myself.

Fizdale gives mins to players, who earn it. People can stop with each players going to get so many minutes bull crap.

OP said if the knicks are in the playoffs hunt near the 8th seed and he's averaging those numbers.

how would that make them the worst or one of the worst teams in the league?
